The World's True God and Savior
Hearing the sudden footsteps, Stephen Strange, who was feeling depressed and desperate, instinctively turned his head to look.
Then he saw a dozen or so monks dressed in yellow robes slowly walking over.
The aura emanating from these guys looked very familiar; Stephen Strange recognized them immediately, as they resembled the aura of the mages he had encountered before.
Stephen Strange's eyes lit up with surprise, his mind racing. He thought that the Ancient One were willing to teach him, so they sent people over.
"Who are you?" he asked excitedly, "A mage?"
Upon approaching, Kaecilius and the others stopped in their tracks. Looking at the unremarkable man before them, Kaecilius's eyes flickered for a moment before he smiled and said, "Stephen Strange, right?"
"Yes, that's me." Stephen Strange, sensing something was amiss, hesitated, "And you are..."
Kaecilius smiled broadly and said, "Mr. Stephen Strange, rest assured, we are also sorcerers of Kama Taj."
"I passed by a while ago and you seemed lost, like you needed help?"
"Mr. Stephen Strange, do you need me to show you the way?"
"Minglu?" Stephen Strange was taken aback.
"Yes," Kaecilius nodded. "I heard you came to Kama Taj to heal your hands?"
"Healing our hands was easy for us, but..."
Before he could finish speaking, Stephen Strange stood up excitedly and hurriedly asked, "But what?"
The next second, he heard the middle-aged mage with a braid tied at the back of his head say, "Before we talk about this, Mr. Stephen Strange, allow me to first introduce myself and my mage community, and the Father and Savior we believe in."
"The only true God on earth, the savior of the world!"
Stephen Strange was quite taken aback as he looked at the middle-aged mage in front of him who was introducing a certain being with a beaming smile.
"Aren't you mages? Why are you getting involved in this religious stuff?"
Stephen Strange looked utterly incredulous.
Kaecilius slowly explained, "We believe in a great being who transcends time, a great Dimensional Demon God, Great Lord."
"As long as you believe in the Lord, He can give you infinite power, and it will be easy for your hands to recover!"
"Mr. Stephen Strange, you can consider it."
As soon as he finished speaking, Stephen Strange's attention instantly focused on restoring his hands, his expression filled with excitement, "Can it really restore my hands?"
"Are you sure you're not lying to me? Believing in one... one God can heal my hand?"
Stephen Strange was about to say something, and Kaecilius was also about to say something, when suddenly, as if he sensed something, he paused and looked behind Stephen Strange.
With a creak, the Kama Taj gate behind Stephen Strange, which had been closed, suddenly opened, and Mordo, the Ancient One's first disciple, stepped out.
For a moment, the scene fell silent.
Stephen Strange was somewhat embarrassed and didn't know what to say, while Kaecilius was wondering how much Mordo had overheard and whether he should take action to deal with him.
After a moment's thought, he decided to pretend nothing had happened, gave Mordo a smile, and then did nothing else.
Mordo, as if he hadn't heard anything, said to Stephen Strange, "Come on, come in with me."
"Oh, okay." Stephen Strange responded instinctively and was about to follow Mordo through the door.
However, just as the door was about to close, he heard the words of the middle-aged monk with the braid from before.
"Mr. Stephen Strange, you can consider what I said before."
"Learning magic is tedious, lengthy, and even comes at a price, but we are different."
As he heard the door close, Stephen Strange's expression shifted, his mind racing.
After thinking for a while, Stephen Strange finally decided to see what kind of magic the Ancient One taught before considering what the braided sorcerer had said.
After walking with Stephen Strange for a while, Mordo suddenly said, "Strange, don't trust him."
"Yes, I know," Stephen Strange said, his eyes gleaming.
Mordo didn't know if he believed him or not, so he led him to a room and said, "Go take a bath and rest for a while. If you can, meditate for a bit."
"Ancient One will summon you shortly."
After lighting candles in the room, Mordo handed Stephen Strange a card with a string of letters written on it and headed for the door.
"What is this? Do I need to recite a spell?" Stephen Strange asked in surprise.
"That's the Wi-Fi password here. We're not cavemen." Mordo chuckled as he closed the wooden door to the room.
Once outside, the smile on Mordo's face vanished, replaced by a furrowed brow, as if he were deep in thought.
After a while, he hurriedly arrived at where Ancient One was and told her directly what had just happened.
"You speculate that Kaecilius and his group might have worshipped a certain Dimensional Demon God?"
Ancient One asked calmly.
Mordo nodded, then frowned and asked, "Should we do something about this, or perhaps expel Kaecilius and the others?"
"Their behavior..."
However, before he could finish speaking, he heard something that surprised and puzzled him.
Ancient One said slowly, "You don't need to worry about this. Just pretend you didn't see it."
"Why?" Mordo asked, puzzled.
After a long pause, seeing that Ancient One didn't answer, Mordo had no choice but to say, "Alright."
Then, filled with confusion, he left the palace where the Ancient One was.
He didn't quite understand Supreme Mage Ancient One's actions...
At the same time, because of this incident, he couldn't help but remember what Kaecilius had said not long ago.
He decided to investigate quietly to see what was going on and who Kaecilius and his followers were worshipping.
After he left, the Ancient One frowned in the hall and subconsciously raised her hand, wanting to use the Eye of Agamotto to see what would happen in the future.
But as soon as she raised her hand, she stopped.
"Let nature take its course," she sighed inwardly.
"If there are any bad tendencies, we'll stop them then..."
Some time later, in the main hall where the Ancient One was.
Ancient One slowly began to explain to Doctor Strange.
"The language of magic has existed since the dawn of civilization; ancient sorcerers called this language incantations."
"If the name seems unrealistic to you, think of it as a program, a kind of source code for building the Real World."
As she spoke, the Ancient One stretched out her hands and cast a shield spell.
"We draw the powerful energy we need from other dimensions of the multiverse, chant incantations, summon shields, and create weapons to cast spells..."
Staring at the golden shield made of lines that appeared before him, Stephen Strange was both shocked and filled with joy.
Then, he worriedly said, "Even if my fingers can make those gestures, it's no different from a normal wave."
