Multiverse
At that moment, Stephen Strange overheard the conversation between the Ancient One and Mordo.
"If this continues, his body won't be able to take it!"
"Mordo said nervously."
"I think he's alright," Ancient One.
After a series of screams and swooshes, Stephen Strange was sent flying backwards onto a chair.
Then, he began another journey through the pitch-black space, where colorful lights flashed before his eyes, and the voice of the Ancient One echoed in his ears.
"You think you know the laws governing how things work, and you even think the material universe is everything..."
What is truth?
"What secrets lie hidden behind what you know..."
"At the source of reality, the spirit meets the matter, and thought sculpts reality..."
Stephen Strange flew backward at an incredible speed, witnessing all sorts of bizarre and fantastical sights that could never exist in reality, as if he were experiencing a dream.
The Ancient One's voice continued.
"This universe is just one of Infinity universes; the world is Infinity."
Stephen Strange seemed to have broken through a spatial mirror and arrived in a pitch-black space where crystals shimmered with strange light existed.
"Some are beautiful and full of life, while others are evil and full of killing. In those dark corners, savage forces greedily lurk and wait."
In the final vision, Stephen Strange sees Dormammu, the master of the Dark Dimension Dark Dimension, who is entirely black and composed of dark energy.
After a scream, he floated in the dazzling starry sky.
"Who are you in this multiverse, Doctor Strange..."
Another bizarre, faster-than-light distortion and movement ensued, and Stephen Strange screamed as he was thrown out and crashed to the ground.
Looking at Stephen Strange curled up on the ground, Ancient One asked, "Have you seen these in the gift shop?"
Stephen Strange got up, panting, his emotions churning, his worldview and senses being completely reshaped.
After this bizarre and wonderful journey, he came to believe that the universe is not purely materialistic.
"That White-Clothed Hero and Messiah are probably not as simple as I thought..."
Stephen Strange recalled what the Ancient One had said earlier, and his mind went completely blank.
Finally, he looked up at the Ancient One before him and pleaded, "Teach me!"
Just when he thought that the Ancient One's previous demonstrations were meant to convince him and then hand over these strange abilities to him, he heard the Ancient One's words.
"No."
Then, he was blasted out of Kama Taj.
"No, no, please!"
Stephen Strange pounded on the door frantically.
Stephen Strange experienced a period of despair after his hopes were dashed and then dashed again.
Five hours passed quickly as Stephen Strange sat outside the door, looking unwilling.
Kama Taj.
"Do you think I shouldn't kick him out?" Ancient One asked.
Mordo smiled and said, "It's been five hours, and he's still waiting at the door. He has a certain energy about him."
Ancient One, however, held a different opinion, and slowly said, "Stubbornness, arrogance, and ambition—all of these seem familiar."
Mordo asked in surprise, "You mean Kaecilius? What did he do?"
Ancient One glanced at him, remained silent for a while, thought for a moment, and did not say anything about the fact that Kaecilius might have sided with a Dimensional Demon God.
And that demon god also possesses the power to change the universe...
Of course, this is also related to the fact that Kaecilius did not pledge allegiance to Dormammu of the Dark Dimension; otherwise, she would have expelled him long ago. The reason she keeps him in Kama Taj is to facilitate surveillance.
She had once used the Time Stone to foresee the fate of her disciple Kaecilius, who would be consumed by darkness, but now everything had changed, catching her somewhat off guard.
The future is becoming increasingly unpredictable...
We may have seen the most likely ending for Kaecilius some time ago, but some unknown influence may cause his ending to change in another way.
All of this made her unwilling to expel Kaecilius, so she simply pretended not to see him and kept him under her watchful eye.
Of course, although Kaecilius did not join Dormammu in the Dark Dimension, due to inertia and destiny, or rather, under Dormammu's will, another group of mages joined the Dark Dimension.
It was all destined, just with a different object.
At this moment, Mordo said worriedly, "Several pages of the Forbidden Book have been stolen. We don't know who has them. If someone deciphers their secrets, they might wipe us all out."
Mordo, who knew very well that the stolen pages of the Forbidden Book contained dangerous information, was filled with worry.
Ancient One looked at him quietly.
At that moment, Mordo suddenly said, "The forces of darkness are growing stronger every day. Perhaps Strange can help Kama Taj overcome this crisis?"
During this time, he also became aware of the existence of the Dark Believers.
Outside the gates of Kama Taj, while the Ancient One was conversing with Mordo, his disciple.
Stephen Strange continued to knock on the door weakly, muttering desperately, "Don't lock me out, I can't go anywhere right now."
While he was muttering to himself, Stephen Strange was unaware that a group of people were secretly watching him ten meters away.
"Kaecilius-sama, why don't we make contact with this person?"
"While he was being driven out by the Ancient One..."
Peili and the others, who had been waiting for three or four hours, were filled with confusion.
As soon as he finished speaking, all the dozen or so mages present looked at Kaecilius.
Upon hearing this, Kaecilius smiled and said slowly, "You need patience."
As he spoke, he explained, "Only when people are in their most desperate moments will they feel grateful and cherish the help they receive."
What is easily obtained will only be discarded.
Peili and the others suddenly realized that, in short, they wanted to leave this guy in a state of despair, and then, when he was in despair, to cast a ray of light upon him, so that he would be grateful for the olive branch they had extended and know how to cherish it.
At this moment, Kaecilius continued with a soft smile, "As the saying goes, how can one see True God, our Father and Savior, without going through trials?"
"Our Great Lord will not give it to us so easily."
Hearing his words, Peili and the others were full of admiration, and then couldn't help but sigh, "As expected of someone the Lord values, Kaecilius-sama really knows a lot."
At this moment, Kaecilius said, "Alright, it's about time. This guy has been in despair for hours, now it's our turn to show up."
With that, he took the lead and strode out, heading in the direction of Stephen Strange.
Seeing this, Peili and the others quickly followed.
