The Treasures in Odin's Vault
After hearing Ebony Maw's suggestion on the communicator to use the Surtur, the Fire Giant to defeat Odin, Hela thought it was a good idea and immediately began to take action.
She knew the location of Odin's Vault very well, and she also knew exactly how to sneak in.
After much effort, she entered Odin's treasury.
Then, Hela's gaze fell upon the treasures displayed in the vault.
After ignoring a pile of junk collectibles, what first caught her eye was a treasure box that faintly emitted a blue light.
The Casket of Ancient Winters, also known as the Casket of Ancient Winters, is a treasure of the Frost Giant. It's a magical box that can unleash ice, snowflakes, and storms. Given enough time, it can unleash an ice storm capable of destroying an entire planet! Of course, this is of little use to Hela. Such a wide-range weapon is fine for dealing with planets like Midgard, but it's not so effective against Odin.
The next second, her gaze shifted to the side to a huge Golden Gauntlet inlaid with several colorful gemstones.
Unfortunately, it's a fake.
"Most of the things here are fake and useless..."
Hela casually pushed the glove over as she passed by.
Then, she passed by one useful treasure after another.
Hela's gaze swept across the area and landed on one of the items.
Life Tablet.
Originating from the vanished civilization of Midgard, this treasure of the Atlantis Civilization is inscribed with the Life Equation of biological evolution. According to the evolution equation of the Life Tablet, any user can evolve into the highest level of life, possessing superior intelligence and combat power.
The Eye of Agamotto.
The treasure passed down through generations of the Sorcerers Supreme of Midgard can detect dangers in the universe and the source of magic in advance. As for how it ended up in Odin's vault, only Odin knows.
The Eye of the Sorcerer, also an artifact used by the Supreme Mage...
As Hela passed by these treasures, some plundered by Odin and others obtained through other means, Hela gaze was quickly drawn to this particular target.
In a basin, a ball of orange flames is burning fiercely!
"Is this the Eternal Flame?"
"It looks very ordinary, just like a regular flame."
Hela's communicator projected Ebony Maw's image, and he asked with some surprise.
If the source hadn't been so accurate, he would have almost thought it was just an ordinary flame.
Upon hearing this, Hela smiled and explained, "It's no ordinary thing. The Eternal Flame was obtained by that old Odin from the Surtur, the Fire Giant. It's Surtur's energy core."
"Because Surtur, empowered by the Eternal Flame, was too powerful, Odin committed this act of plunder."
After mocking Odin, Hela continued, "This is a flame that will never go out; it's not that simple."
"The Eternity Flame!"
With an expression of amazement on his face, Hela stretched out his left hand and took a ball of flame from the brazier.
Then, to Ebony Maw's bewildered gaze, Hela walked to the center of the vault, conjured a weapon in her right hand, and slammed it hard against the vault floor.
"What are you doing?" Ebony Maw asked, puzzled.
"You'll see soon enough," Hela smiled. "I'll show you the true power of the Eternal Flame!"
The next moment, Hela leaped down from the huge hole that had been smashed open.
As Hela landed, Ebony Maw showed a look of surprise on his face.
Odin's vault even has a hidden basement?
And what's hidden in the basement...
Looking at the rows of skeletal corpses clad in armor, Ebony Maw felt a bit uneasy, wondering what Hela was doing here.
With a bewildered expression on his face, Hela, holding the Eternal Flame in her left hand, walked step by step through the corpses.
Soon, she saw a huge, shriveled wolf carcass placed in the center of the hall.
"Fenris, my dear, what have they done to you?!"
Although she had expected it, she was still somewhat angry when she actually saw it.
The next second, she held the Eternal Flame in her hand and proclaimed, "The Eternity Flame will grant you rebirth!"
Hela slammed the Eternal Flame into the ground.
Boom! In an instant, a ghostly green light swept outwards, quickly enveloping the entire Hall of Corpses.
To Ebony Maw's astonishment, the corpses began to glow green, and then they all awoke with a start.
After a stiff twist, the corpses all stood up.
Amidst the resurrected corpses, Hela said in a deep voice, "I miss you all, I miss all of you!"
After a brief reunion, Hela explained the plan to them and told them to evacuate. Then she leaped out of the vault's basement.
Upon reaching the vicinity of the Eternal Flame, Hela lifted it up.
"Where is Surtur's skull?" Hela asked, frowning.
Ebony Maw smiled. Having been prepared, he immediately used the communicator to project a map of Asgard.
At two of the locations, a blue dot and a red dot are flashing.
"This blue dot is your location, and that red dot is the place where Surtur's skull is sealed."
After listening to Ebony Maw's explanation, Hela immediately took action.
Before long, she arrived at the location indicated on the map.
"Odin's seal..."
Glancing ahead, Hela said confidently, "It seems we've come to the right place."
She was well aware of Odin's methods.
Of course, she also knew very well that she had to break the seal at an extremely fast speed before Odin could react, and then revive the Surtur, the Fire Giant.
Weapons appeared in her hands.
The next moment, she broke the seal.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Under the barrage of flying weapons, the seal shattered in no time.
Meanwhile, Odin noticed the seal being broken the moment it was broken, a look of surprise flashing across his face. He quickly figured out who had done it.
Hela!
On the other side, seeing the Surtur skull carelessly tossed on the ground, Hela immediately picked it up and threw it into the Eternal Flame.
As Hela watched the skull gradually change within the Eternal Flame, a smile involuntarily appeared on her face.
Ebony Maw, standing nearby, looked on curiously. "Is this Surtur's skull?"
"It is Surtur's skull and crown," Hela explained with a smile. "It is the place where the Flame Giant rest, and as long as it is not destroyed, the Flame Giant will never die."
"This thing, even Odin cannot destroy."
Hela knew very well that as long as Surtur lived, he would one day destroy Asgard.
This is Ragnarok, the inevitable end!
The changes were very obvious in the brazier.
The Eternal Flame burns fiercely!
Be reborn at this moment, accompanied by Eternity flames!
