Background

Ren Tingting is the daughter of Master Ren and the granddaughter of the Ren family patriarch. Raised in wealth, she initially lives as a refined young lady with an interest in both Western fashions and Chinese antiques. She meets Yang Xuan while looking for an antique rouge box to show her foreign friends, and he gives her the box after warning her about dangerous cosmetic ingredients. They exchange names and contact information. 22

She later seeks Yang Xuan out to learn natural skincare and rouge-making. His knowledge and instruction strengthen her attachment to him. 23

Tingting's family is devastated when her grandfather and father become zombies.
