Background

Yang Xuan was a 24-year-old Taobao employee in HN City who spent his nights gaming and watching television. Once physically fit, he had become a sedentary shut-in with a growing belly. A meteor struck him at his company dormitory, after which an unknown System installed itself by establishing a parasitic connection. 2

The System awakened Yang Xuan's telekinesis and gradually enhanced his body through excess mental power. Rather than immediately abandoning his ordinary life, he trained in secret, determined to develop both his mind and physique so that neither would become a weakness. 3 5

His first major journey brought him to 1914 Shanghai, where he became Li Shuwen's nominal disciple at the Jingwu School.
