Background / History

Dragon Stream Peak recruits youths into the Seven Mysteries Sect through a Hundred Day Assessment. Candidates must reach early Qi Condensation within one hundred days to become official disciples, while their breakthrough speed determines their treatment and later obligations. Mo Shuying serves as the peak's chief disciple and oversees the new recruits. 1

The peak's sword path is renowned for its offensive strength, but its disciples are expected to confront Demons and Monsters through the Demon Suppressing Division. This combat-centered path produces exceptional fighters but also severe casualties, discouraging major families from sending their best descendants to Dragon Stream Peak. 1 26

In an earlier expedition, powerful demonic and sinister beings killed or crippled many of Dragon Stream Peak's swordsmanship prodigies. Peak Master Yun Qianqiu was gravely wounded while rescuing disciples and entered prolonged seclusion. The losses depleted the peak's reserves, caused the Seven Mysteries Sect to reduce its support, and left Dragon Stream Peak with fewer high-ranked disciples than rival peaks. 28

During the Seven Peaks Grand Competition, Zhong Ming and the peak's disciples reversed this decline. Dragon Stream Peak's combat adaptability and aggressive response to ambushes allowed it to take and maintain first place.
