Victor pulled a pocket watch from his chest, flipped it open, and quickly swept his gaze over the position of its hands.
Then he looked up at the people before him and said, "Everyone, we must race against time!"
"If possible, make sure to speed things up and set out as soon as possible."
"Even one minute earlier would help!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the officers of the Southern Marching Legion answered in unison, "Yes, my lord!"
They did not dare delay and turned to leave without hesitation.
Once back at their respective camps, they would urge the soldiers to organize their equipment and inspect their weapons... ensuring that the army could depart on time, or even ahead of schedule.
