Growth and Development

Qin Heng held a banquet to celebrate his son's birth, inviting many key figures from Earth's ten major Base Cities, the Four Great Martial Halls, and the Martial Warrior Alliance. Yan Feng, Xuan Nie, and Yu Ling, the three Star Lords, even made a special trip back to present their gifts.

On this day, everyone not only learned Qin Yi's name, but Qin Heng also relinquished the title of Martial God, changing it to the more fitting "Guardian."

During the Goddess of War's absence, Qin Heng was the planet's only native Star Lord.

Perhaps the greatest protective force did not come from him, but from Purple Snow Star—Fu Xuan.

But Earthlings did not know this. To the civilians and martial warriors of Earth, Qin Heng was the guardian deity in their hearts.

After having a child, Qin Heng's life changed somewhat.

Cultivation and battles of life and death continued as before.

But he had more spare time now. Every day, he spent time with his family, played with his child, and enjoyed the pleasures of being an ordinary person.

Qin Yi could speak as soon as he turned one month old. The three and a half years in the womb had allowed the child to absorb enough life energy, and he grew at an astonishing pace.

Though his body was still tiny, his little brain and bodily functions were far stronger than those of ordinary children his age.

By two months after birth, the child could walk. At first he stumbled about unsteadily, but after only a week, he could walk firmly without anyone holding him up.

By around six months old, the little fellow had grown into a clever little rascal—lively, active, mischievous, and fond of laughing—about the same as a normal three-year-old child.
