At this moment, the two sides were more than a hundred thousand kilometers apart. Divine sense could reach easily, but their domains could not extend that far.

The meaning was clear: he did not regard Qin Heng and Xuan Nie as opponents at all. He believed killing them would be effortless and not worth any exertion.

Seeing the fellow's gloomy expression, Xuan Nie turned and fled. "Big Brother, this won't be easy. Let's get out of here first!"

"Mm." Qin Heng also made as though to flee, heading with Xuan Nie toward the Sky Pillar.

Xie Feng shouted low and raised a hand in a push.

A stream of black air appeared behind the two of them, turning into nearly tangible black sludge as it surged toward them.

"It's Corrosion Law. Don't let that thing get close!" Xuan Nie warned.

With a thought from Qin Heng, the Golden Sky Seal appeared and smashed toward the black sludge.

Splat!

The black sludge merely quivered, almost entirely unaffected, and continued closing in rapidly. The Golden Sky Seal's mighty force, enough to blast Earth apart, seemed completely useless, as though it had struck a lump of paste.

"This Law corrodes all forms of power. Whether physical force or Law-based secret arts, all will be corroded and dismantled, unable to pose any threat," Xuan Nie said gravely.

Qin Heng said, "Then isn't this power invincible?"

Xuan Nie replied, "Power that utterly crushes it
