• Xuanyuan defeated Chi You with the help of his allies, executed him with the Human Emperor Sword, and unified the Human Race.
• After rejecting the Chan Sect’s Dual Cultivation Method, Xuanyuan spread Hong Yun’s Immortal Scripture, completed his merit, and passed the throne to Zhuanxu as Human Dao emerged.
• Zhou Ming helped Ao Hai and West Queen Mother shatter their corpses, then summoned Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi to learn their method.
• Zhou Ming restored Di Jun, Taiyi, Xi He, the Demon Saints, East Prince Gong, and Candle Dragon to their former memories and brought them to the Witch Clan’s territory.

Haotian’s punishment of Yao Ji led her children to break her out of Peach Mountain, before Nuwa and Houtu negotiated a compromise. Haotian then sought Hongjun’s support to strengthen the Heavenly Court, while Zhou Ming advanced his work on a newborn world and Hongjun summoned the sages to discuss the Investiture of the Gods.

• Haotian ordered Yao Ji returned to Heaven and Yang Tianyou and their children executed, while the Human Race secretly preserved Yang Tianyou’s soul and took the children to Huoyun Cave.
• Taibai Jinxing killed Yang Tianyou, but Fuxi stopped the Heavenly Court from taking the children and brought them to Huoyun Cave, where Yang Jiao, Yang Jian, and Yang Chan found teachers.
• Haotian sentenced Yao Ji to be imprisoned beneath Peach Mountain, and Wu proposed that her children rescue her while Haotian sought Houtu’s support.
• After years of cultivation, Yang Jian, Yang Jiao, and Yang Chan split Peach Mountain with the Mountain-Splitting Axe and freed Yao Ji, but Taibai Jinxing captured the family on their way to Huoyun Cave.
• Nuwa and Houtu secured a compromise with Haotian and Yuanshi: Yao Ji would remain in Heaven, while her children could earn merit to atone for breaking Peach Mountain.
• Haotian visited Hongjun and asked him to help fill the Heavenly Court’s posts with Chan Sect disciples, then reunited with Yao Ji and her children in Yun Hua Palace.

The Sages refused to sign the Investiture of the Gods, setting the sects and the Human Race on paths toward the coming Tribulation. As Zhou Ming prepared to influence the struggle, he began rebuilding Wang Shu’s body under attack from a lightning tribulation.

• Hongjun ruled that the Western Teachings were outside the Mystic Gate’s Tribulation, then erased every name from the Investiture except Taishang Laojun and ordered the Three Pure Ones to return in ten thousand years.
• Zhou Ming warned Tongtian that the Interception Sect faced disaster and urged him to let disciples enter the Investiture to preserve their lives, but Tongtian’s disciples chose to stand and fight.
• Wu persuaded the Human Race’s ancient sages to let him face the coming calamity as a reincarnated Human Emperor, while Hong Yun urged the Human Race to develop its Martial Dao and abandon the Method of Slaying Three Corpses.
• The Three Pure Ones refused to sign the Investiture, and Hongjun decreed that the defeated in the Tribulation would have their true spirits placed on it to serve the Heavenly Court.
• Hongjun revealed that the Person of Destiny would be born in ten thousand years with the Flying Bear Aspect and would wield the Investiture and God-Beating Whip, prompting Tongtian and Yuanshi to order their disciples to search for him.
• Yuanshi took Lingzhuzi from Nuwa in exchange for the Karma he owed her, intending the spirit pearl to become Tai Yi’s disciple and bear the Tribulation.
• Zhou Ming planned to direct Tongtian to the true Person of Destiny and test whether authority over the Investiture followed the chosen person or the sect, while explaining Hongjun’s scheme to Houtu.

Zhou Ming helped Tongtian secure Jiang Ziya, but Hongjun awarded the Investiture of the Gods and God-Beating Whip to Yuanshi and Shen Gongbao. As the Interception Sect prepared for the Tribulation, Zhou Ming revealed the larger threat to the Primordial Wilderness, while Jiang Ziya began his training in Chaoge before Jin Ling summoned him back.

• Zhou Ming completed Wang Shu’s reconstruction and agreed with the Six Sages to forbid further extraction of the Primordial Origin.
• Wu entered reincarnation with his memories sealed, while the ancient sages concealed the change to Human Race Fortune and Heavenly Secrets.
• Zhou Ming led Tongtian to Jiang Ziya, who accepted Tongtian as his master, while Hongjun guided Yuanshi to Shen Gongbao.
• Hongjun declared Shen Gongbao the true Person of Destiny and gave Yuanshi the Investiture of the Gods and God-Beating Whip, prompting Tongtian to seek Zhou Ming’s guidance.
• Zhou Ming advised Tongtian to prepare Jiang Ziya for governing, muddy the Tribulation with variables, and draw the Chan Sect into the conflict.
