Background

Kellen Clarence was the head of the Kellen Family, a major noble family on Planet Claire, and an Imperial general. As an Apocalypse-level powerhouse, he was among the Empire's ninety-nine experts at that level. Though a mechanic by classification, his true specialty was physical combat rather than mechanical research. 9 133

He fathered Kellen Suri and Su Ming. When Su Ming unlocked his Gene Lock with a recorded Gene Level of 1 and Brain Domain Level of -3, Clarence disowned him and allowed Imperial law to send him to a logistics planet for five years. 1

Clarence later learned that Su Ming had displayed a Brain Domain Level of 25 after leaving the family, had killed a Level 5 opponent, and had piloted a Mecha to kill a Level 7 Steel Lizard. The revelations made him recognize the talent he had discarded and regret his decision. 67
