Kaino was still somewhat dazed.

Seele's expression grew even more guilty.

Of course he was saddened. After all, quite a few of those people had known him. Some had even been counterparts of people he knew, yet he had still failed to save them.
What was more, Seele had chosen to abandon that city because he had inadvertently caused many things to become real.
But it was not to the point that he regretted it.
It was not that their lives did not matter. He was truly saddened that he would never see people like the Boss, the Spirit of the Spring, Durandal, and Kiana again, but people like Bella, the Captain, and Liliya had indeed spent more time with him.
