Background / History

K423 was created by Schicksal's Sirin Project as one of numerous clones intended to resurrect the Second Herrscher. Unlike the other dormant subjects, she developed an independent consciousness. Ziegfried, Kaino, and Bianca—then still known as Kiana—located and extracted her from the laboratory 3 4.

After Bianca was believed dead, Ziegfried gave K423 the name Kiana, commemorating Bianca's former name. Kiana lived with Ziegfried until the Herrscher of the Void consciousness within her first awakened; Ziegfried suppressed it with the Judgement of Shamash at the cost of his arm, then left her behind out of fear that his presence would trigger another awakening 126 136.

Kiana spent years searching for Ziegfried before reaching the Far East and finding Theresa. She eventually entered St. Freya Academy, where she formed close friendships with Mei, Bronya, and Seele 135.

Appearance

Kiana is a white-haired girl with sky-blue eyes and distinctive twin tails. Her casual dress in childhood bore Houmu patterns, while her later Valkyrie equipment is the White Comet armor 2 4 97.

Personality

Kiana is energetic, impulsive, and easily distracted by food, games, or a chance to avoid schoolwork. She is frequently late, has skipped class, and accidentally caused a training room to manifest hostile projections at maximum output 60 81 95.

Despite her immaturity, she is compassionate and decisive when others are in danger. She prioritizes Mei's safety during the looming ChangKong City outbreak and insists that the Second Herrscher's resurrection must be stopped, even when the threat involves her own genetic material 3 59 62.

Her cheerful behavior conceals deep anxiety over Ziegfried's disappearance and her unknown origins. Reuniting with him overwhelms her emotionally, though she responds to the revelation that she is a clone with unexpectedly practical questions rather than despair 135 136.

Sirin Project

After discovering that Schicksal intends to use her genes to revive the Second Herrscher, Kiana refuses to ignore the threat. She joins Ziegfried and Kaino in infiltrating the laboratory, helps search for K423, and shows immediate concern for the newly awakened clone 3 4.

ChangKong City

Kiano later recognizes K423—now living as Kiana—when she confronts a Mortal in ChangKong City. Kiana agrees to leave the city to protect Mei from the suspected Honkai outbreak, then guides Kaino's group toward Senba Academy without recognizing him as her brother 59 60.

St. Freya Life

At St. Freya, Kiana becomes part of the academy's Valkyrie group. She receives White Comet on her birthday, participates in friendly rivalries with Bronya and Seele, and repeatedly causes trouble through skipping class, gaming, and attempts to evade punishment 68 81 95 97.

Family Reunion and Herrscher Revelation

Kiana reunites with Ziegfried and learns that Kaino and Bianca are her older siblings. She then learns that she is a laboratory-made clone carrying the Herrscher of the Void's Core, though she remains more preoccupied with why a clone resembling Kaino would be a girl 135 136.

The Newborn Herrscher

When Kaino, Fu Hua, and Xiao Shi discover that destroying the Herrscher of the Void would also kill Kiana, they erase the hostile consciousness's memories instead. Kiana agrees to raise the resulting newborn personality and teach it proper values 137 138 140.
