Li Yang brought the woman to a hotel. After booking a room, they turned and went upstairs. I hurried to the front desk and asked for their room number, but the receptionist refused to tell me no matter what, saying it was confidential.

With no other choice, I pretended to be furious and told the receptionist I had come to catch my partner cheating. Only then did she agree.

We searched every corner of the room but found nothing. The door had been closed, and there was no room card inside, which meant Li Yang had never entered.

But that raised the question: if he had already booked the room, why hadn't he gone inside?

Just then, I suddenly remembered what the taxi driver had told me. Many women had disappeared from the bar!
