Getting What He Wanted

"I found him to be a very strange person. Although he looked sunny and outgoing on the surface, he actually didn't have a single friend. He didn't even interact with outsiders. He was always alone. Yet five years ago, he should have been a very cheerful person."

"What could have caused someone so cheerful to become this withdrawn? Without a doubt, he was guarding a secret, one that absolutely couldn't be revealed."

"That was why he chose to be alone. But he was still a man, and over the past few years, he had frantically sought out women, yet never had a steady girlfriend."

"Because he was afraid those women would expose his greatest secret."

I nodded thoughtfully and looked at Li Tongtian. "That secret was probably what allowed him to escape Han Qianqian's pursuit."

"Exactly," Li Tongtian said. "After Han Qianqian became a Fierce Ghost, the first person she sought was Li Yang. As far as I know, Li Yang was at the school then. Yet thirty-seven people died in a single day, while he remained completely unharmed."

"Isn't that strange? It looked as though Master Du Mo had helped him, but I suspected there was someone else involved."

Wu Yong said impatiently, "Why are you telling us all this? Our top priority right now is finding Li Yang."

"He's at home right now." Li Tongtian took out a map and pointed to a spot. "This is his home, in an extremely remote town. Every time he goes to work, he has to drive for a very long time."

"That means there must be something shameful hidden in his house. Perhaps all those missing women are there."

"Let's go to his house." I made the decision immediately.

"Then let's go." Li Tongtian floored the accelerator, and the car sped off.

No one spoke along the way. Only when we were almost getting out of the car did I ask, "You're driving so fast that you're clearly speeding. Aren't you afraid of losing points?"

"You need a driver's license before they can deduct points," Li Tongtian replied.

I was instantly speechless.

The gloomy, remote town was located in the outskirts. It was extremely isolated, yet despite it being nighttime, street stalls were everywhere. After getting out of the car, we quickly found Li Yang's home.

It was a two-story villa with a huge courtyard. The gate was tightly shut.

The three of us decided to climb over the wall, but there was barbed wire on top of it. Seeing this, Li Tongtian frowned. "An electric fence. Let's not go over."

"Why does this place look just like a prison?" Wu Yong asked in surprise.

"This may actually be a prison," Li Tongtian said.

Just as we were at a loss in front of the gate, the sound of a car suddenly came from the distance. The three of us hurriedly hid to the side, only to see that the driver was Li Yang.

Li Yang got out of the car, then reached out, opened the gate, and carried someone on his back.

By the moonlight, I could see that the person on Li Yang's back was that woman. Her entire body was covered in wounds, her face was battered and disheveled, and her mouth was sealed with tape.

"Baby, we're finally home. Come, let's have a good time." Li Yang's face was filled with a perverted smile, twisted like that of a madman. He raised his arm, took out his keys, and opened the gate directly, then turned and walked inside.

At that moment, Li Tongtian took the opportunity to snap several photos with his phone. Only then did he say to us, "Let's go. We're leaving."

I nodded in agreement as well. Li Yang had looked truly terrifying just now.

The next day, I hurried to the classroom. Wu Yong asked with a strange expression, "Does that Li Tongtian really have a way to deal with Li Yang?"

"I trust him. Let's wait and see," I said.

And so, we spent the entire morning waiting restlessly. Around noon, Li Tongtian suddenly called and told us to come to the entrance of the Abandoned School.

When we arrived, he was standing behind the gate, his gaze drifting uncertainly.

When he saw me, he smiled. "You came at just the right time. The show is about to begin."

"Are you sure Li Yang will come?" I asked in surprise.

"He'll definitely come," Li Tongtian said firmly.

"Why?" I asked.

"With the photos in my hands, Li Yang might be able to escape Han Qianqian's pursuit, but I don't believe he can escape the police," Li Tongtian said.

"That's true. The reason Li Yang can act so arrogantly is because of his father. If he becomes a wanted criminal, even his father will be powerless," Wu Yong said.

We waited in silence. After a while, Li Yang indeed appeared.

This time, there was no longer any warmth on his face. Only endless coldness and venom remained.

When he saw Li Tongtian, he held out his hand. "Where are the photos?"

"I have plenty of photos. It all depends on whether you're willing to behave," Li Tongtian said with a smile.

"Hmph. Do you think a single photo can deal with me?" Li Yang looked at him with disdain and said arrogantly, "You should know who my father is. A single photo can't prove anything. Everyone will assume it was forged."

"Since you know that, why cause trouble for yourself?" Li Yang looked at him with disgust. "Wouldn't it be better to be the Student Union president and mind your own business?"

"Right now, I only want to know how much trouble you'll be in if this photo is handed to the police." Li Tongtian casually waved his phone.

Li Yang stared at us with a gloomy expression, as though he wanted to engrave our faces into his memory.
