Iver learned how his family’s past connected to the Noble Red Society, joined Lloyd’s while plotting against its factions, and prepared to investigate Eagle Cape Village. After advancing and entering the New Moon Ritual under the alias Aleister, he began competing in a deadly trial alongside Lily and the other participants.

• Mathers and Mina revealed that Julio and Anne were Iver’s parents, while Sherlock identified Iver’s grandfather Jacob as a former Ritual Mage in the Scaleless Hand and linked the family’s curse to the Iron Hook Demon.
• Sherlock asked Iver to help expose York Holmes, whom he suspected of leaking information and possibly connecting to the attack on Sherlock and the royal-family curse.
• York and Boca recruited Iver into Lloyd’s and the Noble Red Society, but Iver suspected their factional motives and planned to stage his abduction and turn the groups against each other.
• Iver told Hai Na that Jacob was her Grandpa Jacob, and explained the history of the Paths of Strength, Authority, and Transcendence that lay behind the stories Jacob had taught her.
• After reaching Level Nine, Iver and Lily performed the New Moon Ritual, where Iver adopted the alias Aleister and entered a competition with three promotion spots and lethal victory conditions.

Iver won Rhongomyniad, gained new shadow traits, and freed Yulia from the Phantom Demon by turning it into the Paradox Flame Butterfly. As Lily gained shadow powers and Yulia prepared to enter Royal Law University, Iver arranged for her to stay with Isabel during an impending assassination attempt and continued plotting against Minister Drost.

• Lily discovered that Minister Drost had hired an assassin who killed her mother, and Iver promised to protect her and let her take the Moriarty surname.
• Iver killed the Giantess, claimed Rhongomyniad, and placed first in the ritual, earning Challenger's Courage, Silent Dead, and Shadow Avatar.
• Iver used the Tarot Cards and a dangerous ritual to free Yulia from the Phantom Demon, forming the Great Sin: Paradox Flame Butterfly and restoring Yulia’s health.
• Iver shared the Shadow Demon’s power with Lily, allowing her to disperse into shadows and communicate with the demon over a limited range.
• Yulia awoke healthy and agreed to attend school, while Oswald confirmed the Phantom Demon was gone and revealed that he planned to search for Professor Moriarty.

Iver used his staged disappearance to draw the Noble Red Society into conflict, then moved against its leaders as the Bureau of Supervision investigated. After Tommy Lloyd’s death exposed evidence about Aleister, Iver met the Grand Guardian and reunited with David, learning that David had encountered Aleister during his Promotion Ritual.

• Iver summoned the Paradox Flame Butterfly and used her to defeat the Demon Scholars who attacked his dormitory, then staged evidence that Aleister had abducted him.
• Iver killed Lawyer York and learned that York’s superior, Bran Boca, was tied to the Noble Red Society, while he and Lily reunited with Sherlock.
• Iver told Sherlock that he had manipulated the Noble Red Society’s factions, and Meg ordered Tommy Lloyd to find Iver and return him within three days.
• Boca surrendered to the Grand Guardian and accused Tommy of crimes, prompting Tommy to gather allies and attack Boca’s residence.

After Lily killed Drost during the Noble Red Society’s assault on the Bureau, Iver saved the wounded, while the Queen’s court began to suspect Lily was Aleister.
