Almost as soon as Zhong Lichun finished her warning, the ferns began shaking even more violently. Then a grayish-white shadow burst out from within and charged toward the cage at incredible speed.

Everyone froze when they saw the grayish-white shadow, because what had charged out was a Yeti. However, unlike the huge Yetis they had encountered before, this one was not particularly tall.

The Yeti stood only about 1.5 meters tall, and its fur was much less dense than that of the giant Yetis. Though it covered the creature's entire body, there were many places where it was so sparse that the skin underneath could be seen.

Not long after the Dwarf Yeti charged out, another black shadow burst forth. This time, it was a gigantic black-and-gray feline. From its appearance alone, it resembled a lion, but its back, forelimbs, and shoulder areas bulged noticeably. Its neck was much shorter than a normal lion's, its head was enormous, and two massive fangs protruded from its mouth.

The moment he saw the creature, Wei Dengke cried out almost instinctively, "Damn! It's a saber-toothed tiger!"

"What did you say? A saber-toothed tiger? Shouldn't that thing have gone extinct ages ago?" Hearing Wei Dengke's cry, Mo Li widened his eyes and pressed him incredulously.

His question was obviously pointless. Even with Wei Dengke's extensive knowledge, he probably couldn't explain why a supposedly extinct saber-toothed tiger was here.

She had always been rather thick-skinned, and after seeing the Giant Frog and Giant Centipede in the Underground Cavity, nothing could surprise her anymore. As far as she was concerned, this saber-toothed tiger was merely a little bigger, with slightly longer fangs. In every other respect, it looked no different from the lions and tigers
