Naruto and the resurrected Kage battled Mai and Akatsuki, and Naruto and Satsuki defeated Mai after she revealed her plan to prepare the world for the Otsutsuki. Naruto spared her, then he and Satsuki departed while Sasuke received Hagoromo’s power and confronted Mai’s plan to unify the Ninja World by force.

• Mai summoned the Nine Masked Beasts against Naruto and Satsuki, but Naruto opened golden gates and brought the deceased Kage to the battlefield.
• Madara, Izuna, and the other Kage fought Akatsuki, while Hashirama and Madara joined forces to destroy Nagato’s four Magatsuhi giants.
• Mai challenged Naruto with powers drawn from three sage regions, but Naruto and Satsuki combined their attacks against her.
• Mai revealed her face and rejected Sasuke’s feelings, prompting Sasuke to awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Mai overwhelmed Naruto and Satsuki with her transformed Nine-Tails and Wood Release powers, then absorbed the Ten-Tails and trapped them in another dimension.
• Satsuki’s black flames restored Naruto and Satsuki’s speed and healing, and they broke Mai’s staff and defeated her.
• Mai explained that she came from another world and sought power to unite the Ninja World before the Otsutsuki arrived, but Naruto spared her and left with Satsuki.
• Naruto and Satsuki watched younger versions of themselves meet, then departed, while Mai later reaffirmed her plan and Sasuke revealed the power Hagoromo had given him to oppose her.

Sasuke chose to stand beside Mai as she prepared to leave, while Naruto and Satsuki began a new chapter after Satsuki became Hokage. Satsuki confronted the Daimyo’s rebellious son, discovered she was carrying twins, and built a family life with Naruto as he took on her duties.

• Sasuke fought Mai, then declared that he wanted to stand beside her and became a rogue Ninja, while Minato chose to support his daughter.
• Naruto and Satsuki returned from their honeymoon, learned that Hanabi had been abducted, and heard how Zacian rescued her from the attackers.
• Satsuki asked Jiraiya how she could become Hokage, explaining to Naruto that she wanted to change the painful childhoods endured by children across parallel worlds.
• Satsuki became Konoha’s Sixth Hokage, issued protections for Jinchuriki, and faced the Daimyo’s demand that she reverse her reforms.
• Naruto and Satsuki visited the Daimyo and discovered that his son Yuan Jiucheng had forged the letter and gathered soldiers to seize power.
• Satsuki contained and destroyed a summoned meteor, then tortured Yuan Jiucheng with Genjutsu until he was imprisoned and the Daimyo agreed to support Konoha’s policies.
• Naruto discovered that Satsuki was pregnant with twins, and he promised to serve as Acting Hokage while caring for her at home.
• Naruto helped Tsunade reunite with Dan Katō, who chose to reincarnate, then shared family plans with Satsuki as they cared for their children.
