Time in the Upper Realm could be described like this: concentration was the essence.

After settling in for only six years, Atabia and Black Star had completely established themselves in the Church of Light. They had refined two-winged artifacts and become two-winged angels.

The hierarchy of the Church of Light was easy to classify.

Most of them were Indestructible Level celestials who pursued immortality and had chosen not to break through to become Ancient Gods.

As a result, the true bodies of these celestials were weaklings. They probably could not defeat even any random native of the Origin Continent!

To gain Ancient God combat strength comparable to the laws, they used refined Acquired Dao Artifacts—the wings—to make themselves stronger.

Angels with zero to twelve wings.

Each pair of wings represented one level, signifying the number of pieces of equipment one could refine.

The Church of Light was currently divided into two factions.

1. The Immortality Faction.

They maintained the Indestructible Level and never broke through, using Dao Artifacts to spend resources and pile up strength.

But the Indestructible Level was too low a realm. Their wings could not possess artifact spirits and were merely dead objects. They had to pile up a large number of Ancient God wings to defeat someone of the same rank.

In simple terms, their combat strength was flashy but hollow. When they encountered a true powerhouse, they were practically delivering equipment for free.

This was like practicing brute force—it simply did not work.

2. The Mortal World Faction.

They advocated living in the present world and becoming Ancient Gods themselves. Their lifespans would then have limits, but combined with Ancient God wings possessing artifact spirits, their combat strength could reach the true pinnacle!
