"Yes. The only thing that can oppose light is thunder—not darkness in the conceptual sense." Professor Wales suddenly murmured aloud.
"Because darkness devours all information, signals cannot be transmitted at all. Thus, no network can be established. That makes the Ancient God of Darkness nothing but a joke."
"Light's enemy is thunder—optical signals versus electrical signals. That is the truth behind the two great factions!"
Professor Wales was a scientist from the Old Days Universe. As he spoke of electrical signals and looked at the router-like Crown of Thorns, it was as though he had glimpsed the deepest source code of the universe and learned the truth of all history.
As a scientist, he felt a long-lost fervor erupt in his heart. Unable to restrain himself, he suddenly murmured in a low voice:
"This is an information age. What lies before us isn't a war between people. In essence, it is the development of the universe—the true war and collision between the universe's two great laws. It is light propagation versus radio waves, competing for sovereignty over this universe!"
"Not a war between humans, but a collision between the universe's own laws." Everyone present fell silent, their faces filled with irrepressible shock.
Each word landed like a thunderclap, exploding in the ears of everyone within the Abyssal Temple.
The war of information was the current trend of this universe.
The universe was far too vast. In this kind of war spanning the myriad heavens, across the endless corridor labyrinth, only by coordinating and commanding all those scattered soldiers could one possess the power to contend for supremacy over the universe.
Among the Level Two Gods, light and thunder were the two foundational authorities best suited to establishing dynasties.
These two personified-law gods were the only two chosen heirs of Heaven.
