The pre-Crisis Flash, Barry Allen, was slowly jogging beneath the dome.

This was pre-Crisis Gotham City, shrouded beneath the dome, and our pre-Crisis Flash had lost his superpowers--

Obviously, he was trying to recover his powers by running constantly, but it was all futile.

"Whew, whew, whew... Good Lord. The fastest man alive, the fastest man alive, my..." Barry Allen panted heavily as he answered the pager ringing in his pocket.

Barry before Flashpoint had come from before the Infinite Earths Crisis, so we all knew:

He said, "Dr. Ellen?"

The Flash had found a job as a forensic consultant with the Gotham City Police Department. He was doing work he had done before, and it was easy.

"I'll be there at ten," he said.

So Barry started running to work, making the most of the abilities he still possessed.

Gotham had always been a city of crime, and crime had surged since the dome closed.

But the dome had frozen everyone's time. No one could die anymore, so illegal imprisonment had become the worst crime imaginable.

It didn't sound fun at all. People couldn't die or become crippled, so imagine how horrifying it would be to be unable to die.

A knife stabbed into your body, and when it was pulled out, the wound healed as time reversed--

But what about the pain?

Fortunately, the Gotham Police Department had received all the help it could get.

At ten in the morning, The Flash had already changed into his white coat in the forensic department
