This was reality's farthest boundary. Before the first sentient being had formed its first thought, the Source Wall had already stood here—seamless, boundless, and infinite.
It was a barrier encircling all things in existence, preventing others from peering at whatever answers might lie beyond the wall—or perhaps... preventing monsters from beyond the wall from invading reality.
For billions of years, any creature that tried to pass through the Source Wall became part of the wall itself, accompanied by an uncountable army of giants. They had been part of this cosmic prison since ancient times... These creatures were giants born from the fusion of human and Martian DNA. Perpetua had forged them to serve as her soldiers.
If everything went smoothly, she would drive the DC Multiverse to invade other multiverses, then send this army storming into their worlds—like injecting poison into an opponent before two beasts began tearing each other apart.
But we all knew how the story ended... And so, at this very moment, these giants remained quietly here.
Yet now, after all of reality had recently suffered the irreparable devastation of an event known as Earth-15, part of the wall had been torn open. A vast and terrifying natural force once sealed within the Source Wall burst out and crossed time and space.
