Arc 1The Dao Stele and the Array Master

Mo Hua used the Dao Stele to strengthen his divine sense and began earning Spirit Stones by drawing formations for Fate Pavilion, helping his family pay his Immortal Gate tuition. After Instructor Yan discovered his talent, he began privately teaching Mo Hua array theory and assigned him work drawing more advanced formations.

  • Mo Hua discovered the Dao Stele in his Sea of Consciousness and practiced the Dual Element Formation on it, strengthening his divine sense.

Instructor Yan brought him to Mr. Zhuang, who accepted him as a disciple, while the Bai siblings arrived seeking Mr. Zhuang as their master.

  • Mo Hua discovered that Liu Ruhua’s heart and lungs had been damaged by extra Dining Hall shifts, and she told him she had taken them to save for his cultivation technique.
  • Mo Hua designed a Spirit-Stone-powered stove, drew a five-pattern Molten Fire Array on it, and helped Liu Ruhua prepare to open an eatery.
  • Liu Eatery opened and prospered, earning more than two hundred Spirit Stones before Mo Hua returned to Immortal Gate for classes.

  • Mr. Zhuang accepted Bai Zisheng and Bai Zixi as nominal disciples, and the siblings began studying arrays alongside Mo Hua.
  • Mo Hua chose the Heavenly Derivation Art because it required no costly spiritual objects, then discovered a Riddle Array in his sea of consciousness was blocking his cultivation.

  • Mo Hua learned the Earth Fire Array and used it to blast down a tree, while Da Hu, Shuang Hu, and Xiao Hu became Monster Hunters.
  • When Qian Xing tried to force Mo Hua to summon Bai Zixi, Da Zhu and the artifact-refining youths defended Mo Hua, and Mo Hua’s hidden array paper badly injured Qian Xing.
  • Zhang Lan investigated the incident, but the Dao Court Office lacked grounds to prosecute, and Elder Feng refused to treat Qian Xing after learning he had attacked Mo Hua.
