Vol. 2The Spirit Mine and Guilds

Mo Hua helped the Monster Hunters discover and seize the Spirit Mine, then used his array skills to help build new guilds for their livelihood. The Artifact Refining Guild’s furnace was completed, and Elder Yu obtained a manual as they prepared to begin production.

  • Elder Yu rewarded Mo Hua for completing the Vine Armor arrays, and Zhang Lan taught him the Flowing Water Step while Old Kui taught him the Fireball Technique.
  • Mo Shan trained Mo Hua to survive in Great Black Mountain, where Mo Hua hunted with his companions and asked Yu Chengyi for Monster Hunters to pursue a dangerous beast.

Arc 5Into Great Black Mountain

Mo Hua learned the Flowing Water Step and Fireball Technique, gathered demon blood, and began hunting with traps while Mo Shan taught him how to survive in Great Black Mountain. The arc left Mo Hua asking Yu Chengyi to lend him Monster Hunters for a dangerous beast hunt.

  • Elder Yu rewarded Mo Hua for completing the Iron Armor Formations, while Zhang Lan offered to teach him spells and chose the Flowing Water Step.
  • Zhang Lan taught Mo Hua the secret Flowing Water Step, and Mo Hua practiced it with fruit and in sparring matches with Bai Zisheng before training against a young Cat Monster.
  • Elder Yu discovered that Mo Hua had completed all one hundred Vine Armor sets and visited the Mo family with gifts, while Old Kui taught Mo Hua the Fireball Technique and how to lock onto moving targets.

Arc 6The Spirit Mine Revelation

Mo Hua used his arrays and mountain knowledge to help the Monster Hunters, capture a flower-plucking evil cultivator, and protect Mo Shan. After Old Zhao revealed that Great Black Mountain held a Spirit Mine, Mo Hua located its likely position and told Mo Shan.

  • Mo Hua developed the Sinan Parent-Child Array, planted Child Array Stone Needles across the Outer Mountain, and used them to track monster activity and collect blood.
  • Mo Hua helped find Old Zhao after he disappeared in the mountains, then joined Zhang Lan, Situ Fang, and Situ Xiu in searching for the flower-plucking thief.
  • Mo Hua helped Zhang Lan defeat the Evil Cultivator, then severed one of the captive’s legs before they brought him down the mountain.
  • Old Master An thanked Mo Hua for helping capture the Evil Cultivator and considered recruiting him into the An Family, but Mo Hua declined the invitation.

Arc 7The Spirit Mine Campaign

  • Mo Hua revealed hidden tunnels beneath Nameless Peak, and the Monster Hunters drove the Qian Family from the mine while Mo Hua collected Storage Bags from fleeing cultivators.
  • Mo Hua drew Golden Armor Arrays and Earth Fire Arrays that repeatedly repelled Qian Family attacks, then used precise Fireball Techniques to disrupt their Spirit Cultivators and expose a concealed attacker.
