"Whose eyes?"
The sudden horror made Xiao Xiao's heart pound violently, and he instinctively dodged backward.
But the moment he tried to move, an even more intense dizziness hit him.
His brain seemed to have suffered some powerful impact, splitting into two. The world he saw had split in two as well.
It was as if a perfectly intact mirror had suddenly broken in half. One half still reflected the world seriously as before, while the other suddenly twisted at an angle, causing the things reflected in it to become more numerous—and stranger.
At that moment, Xiao Xiao's brain seemed to be torn in half as well.
He didn't understand what this sudden change was or what that eye was. He only instinctively wanted to escape.
But the moment he turned around, he froze again.
Because he saw the other wall before him, immersed in darkness, beginning to twist, blur, and soften as well. The cold, hard concrete and steel seemed to turn into living flesh, and that flesh was splitting open down the middle.
Another basketball-sized Dark Red Eye squeezed through the fleshy fissure.
It rolled around and stared fixedly at him.
Xiao Xiao saw its vertical pupil and its eerie aura. He even saw himself reflected in its eye.
He was standing before his computer desk, rubbing his forehead, his face pale and filled with alarm as he stared at this world.
"Crash..."
The horror inside Xiao Xiao nearly exploded. His body lurched, knocking over the computer chair and producing a violent noise.
But before he could do anything, his staggering body looked up, and he saw another red eye slowly squeezing out of the ceiling above him. It quietly floated in midair like a chandelier, staring fixedly down at him.
The sensation of this moment was impossible
