Ji Shu defeated the Beast God, unified the major sects, established Mountain Sea Gate, and traveled through the realms appointing gods before ascending. He then entered the Legend World, where he confronted a ghost possessing Liu Shan Gen and demanded the Five Manifestations God’s Primordial Spirit.

• Ji Shu mastered the Zhu Xian Ancient Sword, drove back the Beast God’s army, and killed the Beast God in battle.
• Ji Shu secured the submission of the Demonic Path factions and Qingyun Sect, then founded Mountain Sea Gate on Kongsang Mountain and sealed the world gateway against other Players.
• Ji Shu found the Investiture of the Gods in Ling Xiao Treasure Hall, appointed Yue Lao and others as gods, and defeated Old Man Black Heart and Qing Ye in the Underworld.
• Ji Shu studied the Hell Library and other realms’ arts, appointed Linglong, Qingyunzi, and Moon Fairy as gods, and placed a virtuous man in charge of the Hungry Ghost Path.

Ji Shu traveled through Jiangdu and Guo Bei County, capturing demons and freeing Nie Xiaoqian from Tree Demon Granny. After defeating Black Mountain Old Demon, Ji Shu absorbed demonic powers and prepared to track the demon through the City Lord Seal.

• Ji Shu killed the Five Manifestations God, freed his victims’ souls, and perfected his cultivation until his Supreme Immortal Scripture formed a Primordial Spirit.
• In Jiangdu City, Ji Shu captured the Flying Lizard and subdued Xiao Wei, then left with Xia Bing and Pang Yong after exposing Xiao Wei as a Thousand-year Fox Demon.
• At Lan Ruo Temple, Ji Shu resisted Nie Xiaoqian’s charm, learned of Tree Demon Granny’s control over her, and promised to free her.
• Ji Shu fought through Granny’s demon army, secretly entered her lair, killed her, and returned with Nie Xiaoqian’s Ash Urn.
• Xiao Qing warned Ji Shu that Tree Demon Granny had allied with Black Mountain Old Demon, and Ji Shu learned from Granny’s soul that the demon was powerful in both the Little Underworld and the mortal world.
• Yan Chixia taught Ji Shu Palm Thunder, the Heavenly Eye, sword techniques, and the Xuanyuan Divine Sword Scripture, which Ji Shu mastered with startling speed.
• Ji Shu defeated Black Mountain Old Demon by exposing him to sunlight, then refined Tree Demon Granny’s tree heart and cultivated her spells and the Dark Heavenly Demon Great Law.
• When Black Mountain Old Demon returned, Ji Shu shattered his body, trapped his fleeing consciousness in the Mystic Fire Mirror, and realized the City Lord Seal could help him locate the demon.

Ji Shu destroyed Black Mountain Old Demon’s power, took control of the Little Underworld, and continued his journey while mastering new arts and defeating demons. The arc left him confronting a fairy realm’s attempt to draw him into its affairs after he learned Meng Longtan planned to capture outsiders.

• Ji Shu entered the Little Underworld with Diao Chan and the others, destroyed Black Mountain Old Demon’s body, and captured his clones in the Mystic Fire Mirror.
• Ji Shu recovered Diao Chan’s true spirit, forged the Sword in Stone from Black Mountain Old Demon’s true body, and appointed Diao Chan ruler of the City of the Wrongfully Dead.
• Ji Shu left Lan Ruo Temple and traveled east, defeating Daoist Yan Wuluo and the Wolf Demon before healing Xin Shisi Niang and taking her as his maidservant.
• Ji Shu and Xin Shisi Niang traveled together, and Ji Shu killed Chu Yu after Chu Yu sent men to ambush them.
• Ji Shu met Zhi Qiu Yi Ye and then defeated Pudu Cihang, learning that the demon had devoured Ming Dynasty officials and murdered the emperor.
• Ji Shu refused Fu Tianchou’s request to become National Preceptor and continued cultivating Buddhist techniques at a temple beneath a waterfall.
• Haitang and Baili tried to lead Ji Shu through a mural to meet Meng Longtan, but Ji Shu learned that Meng Longtan wanted to capture outsiders and cut the fairy maiden’s streams of light when she tried to reclaim them.

Ji Shu took control of the Painted World, attained several Buddhist fruits, and clashed with the Buddhist Realm as he traveled with Bai Suzhen and his companions. After killing Golden Bull Star, he seized the star god’s Fruit Position, drawing the Jade Emperor’s attention.

• Ji Shu killed Meng Longtan and Auntie, seized her scepter, and used it to take control of the Painted World before sealing the world into a scroll.
• Ji Shu attained Vajra King fruition, then repelled Zhou Chu’s attack and left the ruined city with Zhi Qiu Yi Ye and Xin Shisi Niang.
• Bai Suzhen and Xiao Qing joined Ji Shu’s journey, and Ji Shu defeated Fahai and Arhat Subduing the Dragon after the Buddhist Realm targeted him.
• Ji Shu attained Vajra Fruition and the Dragon-Subduing Arhat Dao Fruit while cultivating new Buddhist arts, and Bai Suzhen began gathering techniques for him.
• Bai Suzhen found the Weaver Girl after her Heavenly Robe was stolen, and Ji Shu let her join the group as they traveled onward.
• Ji Shu killed Old Yellow Ox, who revealed himself as Golden Bull Star, and captured his Primordial Spirit in the Mystic Fire Mirror.
• Ji Shu learned Heavenly Court techniques from Golden Bull Star and rejected the Weaver Girl’s suggestion that he join the Heavenly Court.
• Ji Shu mastered the Divine Ox Heaven-Connecting Method and merged it with Golden Bull Star’s Fruit Position, prompting the Jade Emperor to send Lü Dongbin and other immortals to investigate.
