• Qin He learned that a Heaven Sword Mountain cultivator had died fighting supernatural forces, then seized Black Radiance and discovered that six ancient corpses around Black Wind Mountain were growing hair.
• Qin He opened the tilted coffin and fought its red-haired corpse, then crossed the dangerous Weakwater bridge through a horde of vicious creatures and found a real Shore Flower on the far shore.
• Qin He discovered that a Kui Xing Planetarium in a thatched hut was accelerating time and raced toward the horizon to escape the trap.

• Qin He defeated Old Wolf Ancestor, Old Lord Yellow Crane, and Scorpion King Ancestor, then used the Obsession Technique to bind them to fight the Supernatural Disturbance under his command.
• Qin He learned from Elder Kui Xing and Lian Xinglan that Black Wind Mountain was a prison concealing the secret of eternal life, and that its sword-cleft might offer a route through its dangers.

• Wei Wu and Qian Wuliang discussed ways to counter supernatural horrors, and Wei Wu set up defenses in Spirit Medicine Valley to study corpses as they mutated.
• Qin He completed his breakthrough and united the clans under his command, then organized armies and distributed the Spirit Crossing Sutra to fight the outbreaks.
