Background

Angie grew up in Mogron Manor under severe poverty and social ostracism. Her mother, a former noble household maid, taught her limited literacy before dying; afterward, Angie lived alone in a dilapidated home and was regarded as “ominous” by the village chief and residents. Despite malnutrition, rough hands, and isolation, she remained clean, hopeful, and free of resentment. 115

After Evan rescued her from the Blood Hand Gang, she left him a handwritten letter of thanks and returned to Mogron Manor rather than burden Cowper Manor. Evan later found her, recognized both her resilience and spellcaster potential, and offered to take her away as his student.
