Background / History
The Mars Sacred Body was one of nine Great Accomplishment Sacred Bodies who fought for humanity. He grew old and died in a foreign land, having outlived the woman he loved and his old friends 2475 2476.
After his death, a malicious Divine Thought sought to seize a Nine-Orifice Spirit Stone. When Ye Fan and his allies stopped the scheme, the Divine Thought burned its own origin to draw on the Sacred Body's former power. The original body briefly revived and immediately crushed the Divine Thought 2473 2475.
With little time in his revived state, he gave Ye Fan the complete Sacred Body cultivation method. He explained that Ye Fan would need to recultivate every secret realm after becoming a Saint to develop the Sacred Body's full combat strength. Having passed on the method, he felt that an unfinished obligation had been fulfilled 2476.
A drop of Immortal Blood later extended his existence. He promised Xu Yue that he would return when darkness came, then entered the Primordial Ancient Mine to rest 2477.
Personality
The Sacred Body mourns those he lost and regards his former invincibility as little consolation for outliving them. His concern for Ye Fan's incomplete cultivation method, followed by his promise to return during a time of darkness, reflects his continuing sense of responsibility 2476 2477.
