Xu Yue and Meng Qi survived a mission that exposed betrayals at Shaolin, then returned to the temple and set out with Xuan Bei for King Kong Temple. On the journey, Xuan Bei drew Crying Old Man away from the juniors, and Xu Yue fled separately, suspecting the ambush still threatened them.

• Xu Yue helped expose Wang Jin’s betrayal, reach Shaolin with the traitors’ list, and uncover the Hundred Transformations Scholar disguised as Xiang Hui.
• Xu Yue and the others fought Duo Ercha’s forces, escaped through Shaolin’s secret passage, and returned to Reincarnation Plaza after Gu Xiaosang killed Duo Ercha.

Xu Yue and Meng Qi survived the Demon Cult’s ambush, entered the Demon Tomb, and then pursued their separate goals in the Vast Desert. They reunited in Fish Sea to rescue Zhen Hui and later joined Gu Changqing’s effort to confront Evil Ridge over his family.

• Meng Qi escaped An Guoxie’s pursuit but was captured and tortured, while Xu Yue killed You Huanduo and continued toward Bomi.
• The teams joined forces against the Demon Cult, but Gu Xiaosang killed Xia Chulin and Xia Dandan before the Demon Tomb scattered the group.
• Xu Yue rejected the Demon Lord’s inheritance, while Meng Qi gained insight into Divine Firmament Nine Annihilations and the group returned to Reincarnation Plaza.
• Xu Yue traveled to Bomi, obtained a Yin Blood Stone through a trade with Life-Taking Yaksha, and made the Yaksha his controlled servant Ah Da.
• Meng Qi and Gu Changqing went to Fish Sea to rescue Zhen Hui, where Xu Yue helped defeat the horse bandits and escape with them.

Xu Yue and Meng Qi exposed a plot at Zengxian Gate, while Meng Qi attracted the Mystic Maiden’s attention and entered a new Six Paths mission. Their teams infiltrated rival factions in the capital as a succession struggle and threats of war unfolded.

• Xu Yue and Meng Qi stormed Evil Ridge, captured Evil Scholar, and rescued the abducted women, while Xuan Bei revealed that Gu Changqing’s family had been recovered.
• Wu Jing expelled Meng Qi from Shaolin and assigned Xu Yue to escort him, but Meng Qi’s cultivation returned during their travels and the two saw their Human Ranking placements.
• At Zengxian Gate, Xu Yue killed the thief who stole the Heavenly Meteorite and exposed the plot against Hua Tiange, while Meng Qi’s identity was revealed and the stone awakened Thor’s inheritance in him.
• Xu Yue joined Immortal Traces as the Guanghan Fairy, while the Mystic Maiden tried to take Meng Qi as Thor’s successor before a masked Immortal Traces member rescued him.
• Meng Qi obtained chapters of the Eight-Nine Arcane Arts and joined a Six Paths mission to infiltrate the Demonic Sect, with Xu Yue assigned to travel with Liu Shuyu and Ke Changji.
• As the teams headed for the capital, Meng Qi killed Sword General and later clashed with the Evil Lord, while Xu Yue disguised himself as the Ghost King and brought Ke Changji and Liu Shuyu to the Seventh Prince.
• The Sword Emperor advised Meng Qi to tell Lu Guan to remain neutral, but Meng Qi and Ruan Yushu encountered Batu, who warned that peace negotiations were a trap and the Yu Clan planned to march south.

Xu Yue and Meng Qi exposed the schemes behind the Ye Family’s abuse and the unrest in Yi City, while Gu Xiaosang revealed that Thousand-Faced Demonic was their true target. The arc left Meng Qi and Gu Xiaosang poised to cooperate for the Reincarnation Talisman as Meng Qi became involved in the Tang Family succession.

• Xu Yue helped Meng Qi secure the Demon Lord’s Relic, exposed the Emperor’s plot against the Grandmasters, and survived the explosion that killed Evil Lord.
• The Princes’ struggle ended with the Third Prince on the throne, while Xu Yue ascended with the Demon Queen and the reincarnators completed their mission.
