Xu Yue and Meng Qi navigated the Seven Seas' merger with the Real World as Golden Ao Island’s forces moved against them. Yuan Hong’s attack triggered the Time Blade’s intervention, sending Xu Yue, Meng Qi, and others upstream along the River of Time into the Middle Ancient Period.

• Meng Qi learned from Yang Jian that Zhen Hui had been formed from Yang Jian’s consciousness, while Lu Ya offered to free Meng Qi’s companions in exchange for three tasks.
• Su Wuming and the Righteous Path Dharmakaya masters stopped Recoome’s raid on He Qi, but the Seven Seas began merging with the Real World and revealed the threat of Golden Ao Island.
• Xu Yue infiltrated the Seven Seas under the Night Emperor’s identity, while Meng Qi investigated the Ten Absolute Islands and escaped the Nine Bends Yellow River Formation after Yin Ancestor and Primordial Fairy attacked him.
• Meng Qi and Primordial Fairy joined forces against three Celestial Immortals, then Xu Yue brought intelligence and treasures from Golden Ao Island back to the Real World and helped organize resistance to the island.
• Xu Yue asserted Great Shang’s claim to the Shang dynasty before Su Daji, and King Zhou’s spirit recognized Xu Yue as the orthodox Shang Emperor.
• Golden Ao Island’s eight Celestial Immortals attacked East Sea Sword Manor, where Shou Jing used the Time Blade to divide the battlefield and the allies trapped six attackers in their formations.
• Xu Yue and Meng Qi fought Yuan Hong’s hair avatars as Recoome and other demonic leaders arrived, but Yuan Hong’s giant palm forced Shou Jing to intercept with the Time Blade.
• The Time Blade severed Yuan Hong’s arm and hurled Xu Yue, Meng Qi, and those nearby into the Middle Ancient Period, where Xu Yue headed for the Human Emperor Remnants and Meng Qi cautiously began investigating the era.

Xu Yue and Meng Qi confronted the Overlord, the Demon Buddha’s schemes, and the awakening forces of the Final Tribulation while both advanced toward Legend. The arc left Meng Qi poised to face a Demon Buddha contingency hidden in the Wang Family ancestral hall.

• Ren Qiushui explained the Jiangdong Alliance Pact and warned Meng Qi that Wu Daoming would soon become a Heavenly Immortal, while Xu Yue corrupted the Medicine King Buddha and concealed his impersonation of the Azure Emperor.
• Xu Yue helped defeat the Supreme Heavenly Demon’s forces and fought the Overlord, then revealed himself as the Demon Buddha during a later duel that ended with the Overlord’s self-destruction and the visitors’ return to the present.
• Xu Yue attained Legend and declared himself the Human Sovereign, while the Earthly Buddha Kingdom and other ancient factions expanded as powerful beings began to awaken.
• Meng Qi joined Little Fox and the demon race to rescue their Great Sages from Spirit Mountain, where Xu Yue absorbed the Supreme True Buddha and the freed Bull Demon King and Great Sages confronted him.
• Xu Yue’s warning forced the demon army to withdraw from the Western Desert, and Meng Qi later broke through to Legend as the Primordial Muscular Heavenly Venerate.
• Meng Qi sensed Gu Xiaosang’s revival within his true spirit and established Kunlun Mountain and the Jade Void Palace, while Xu Yue revived Gao Lan’s beloved.
• Meng Qi agreed to accompany Wang Siyuan to the Wang Family ancestral hall, where a corpse unleashed the Tendo Monster’s power as a contingency left by the Demon Buddha.

Xu Yue united the Real World under Great Shang and established the Heaven Sealing Platform while Meng Qi investigated black blood that could corrupt the strongest and hasten attainment of the Other Shore. As Azure Emperor and True Martial proved the Dao, Meng Qi reached Creation and resurrected Gu Xiaosang, while Xu Yue took Lu Bu for questioning.

• Wang Siyuan sacrificed the Wang Family’s treasures and his true spirit to awaken the Tendo Monster, while Xu Yue seized and suppressed it with the Human Emperor’s Remains.
• Xu Yue secured the Investiture of the Gods, defeated the forces attacking Great Shang, allied with the demon race, and completed the Heaven Sealing Platform.
• Xu Yue reached perfected Creation within the Real World and enfeoffed Meng Qi and other allies with divine offices, strengthening Great Shang and its allies.
• Meng Qi found Yang Jian’s warning about the Azure Emperor and joined an investigation into black blood in the Origin of Life and Death, where True Martial awakened corrupted after absorbing Yellow Springs.
• Azure Emperor attained Dao through the Fusang Ancient Tree, while Bodhi Ancient Buddha used black blood to reach perfection and Yang Jian revealed that he too had been contaminated.
• The Azure Emperor spread black blood through secret realms as True Martial began proving the Dao, and Meng Qi used the ensuing turmoil to reach Creation and resurrect Gu Xiaosang.
• The Azure Emperor suppressed the Three Corpses and attained Dao more powerfully than True Martial, while Xu Yue seized Lu Bu and brought him to the Human Emperor Palace for questioning.

Xu Yue absorbed Black Blood, helped bring down Bodhi Ancient Buddha, and attained the Dao with Meng Qi’s support. He then entered the Lord of the Mysteries world, built a new identity in Backlund, and became one of the first people summoned by Zhou Mingrui above the Gray Fog.

• Xu Yue explained the Upper Realm to Xu Yue and later cooperated with the Golden Emperor to send Meng Qi into the Nine Nethers, where Meng Qi and Gu Xiaosang began studying the Eastern Emperor’s embryonic Dao Fruit.
• Xu Yue absorbed Black Blood attackers and destroyed most of their forces, while the survivors spread a darkness unrest through the Nine Nethers and Maitreya established a corrupted Buddha kingdom there.
• As Maitreya and other powers attempted to attain the Other Shore, Xu Yue devoured King Yama Buddha and joined the battle against Bodhi Ancient Buddha, while Meng Qi began his own attempt to attain the Dao.
• Xu Yue and his allies destroyed Bodhi Ancient Buddha, and Xu Yue fought Amitabha and the Three Pure Ones as his true identity and plans for the Dao Fruit were revealed.
• Meng Qi chose to stand with Xu Yue, and the Three Pure Ones and several other great powers also supported him, allowing Xu Yue to attain the Dao as the Final Tribulation began.
• Xu Yue entered the Lord of the Mysteries world in an ordinary body, killed Mersault, became a Sequence 9 Hunter, and acquired Seer and Clown formulas at Eye of Wisdom’s gathering.
• Xu Yue summoned the Forgen Dog and asked to borrow its aura, while Zhou Mingrui’s luck-transfer ritual summoned Xu Yue, Audrey Hall, and Alger Wilson above the Gray Fog, where Zhou Mingrui introduced himself as the Fool.
