A huge foot came crashing down from the heavens, looking as though it intended to stomp the Kunlun Divine Palace into smithereens. Kaiming Beast was beside itself with rage. All nine of its heads turned at once as it charged upward and hoisted the Devil King's enormous sole.
"Don't even think about destroying the palace!" Kaiming Beast roared.
"You tiny worm—how dare you challenge me?" A mocking smile appeared at the corner of Cui Xiaoxin's lips. Then she suddenly exerted her strength, and her huge foot rumbled downward.
She not only wanted to crush the palace; she also intended to stomp its guardian, Kaiming Beast, into a pool of sludge.
"Presumptuous!"
Divine light flashed in Li Mu Yang's eyes. He abruptly hurled the white-silver spear in his hand.
Whoosh—
The silver spear was as swift as lightning. It transformed into a golden dragon and shot viciously into the sky, stabbing toward the Devil King's relentlessly descending foot.
Swish—
Cui Xiaoxin knew the dragon spear was formidable and did not dare meet it head-on. Her enormous foot rapidly shrank.
Clang—
The dragon spear grazed past her foot and flew into the sky.
Soon, it dove down from above and plunged straight toward Cui Xiaoxin's head.
Cui Xiaoxin clenched her right hand into a fist and punched.
Bang!
A black orb of light flew out and slammed viciously into the dragon spear's head. The dragon's head was knocked askew, and the spear changed course and was sent flying.
"Li Mu Yang, if that's all you've got, you'd better obediently hand me the Dragon Heart—"
"This is only the beginning." As Li Mu Yang spoke, his body shot into the air.
As he flew at top speed, his body suddenly burst into raging flames. A great mass of fire enveloped him completely, hiding
