Background

Lin Lin awakened memories of a previous life at age thirteen while serving a month of wall-facing reflection in Hundred Flowers Valley's freezing Yin Wind Gorge. He recognized that he had not transmigrated, but had awakened “Past Life Wisdom” after reincarnation. 1

In his current life, Lin Lin was born to itinerant martial artists Lin Yue and Zhang Fei. His parents left him with relatives in Little Lin Village while they traveled to earn money and sect contribution; the relatives indulged him, leaving him spoiled, unruly, and uninterested in study or martial arts. 1
