Power Progression

The mall’s documented advances concern its infrastructure, rules, and reach rather than cultivation realms.

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
System activation 221 Lin Lin supplies one hundred Top-Grade Spirit Stones. The mall begins with merchant-search, spatial-teleportation, and wish-making functions.
Opening for business 222 After one month of preparation, official shops, free-trading stalls, and a security force are established. Seven invited merchants arrive.
Continuous rule development 224 Growing transaction volume generates Equivalent Exchange law power, which You Dong uses to refine the mall’s rules and expand its influence.
Integration with Great Xia’s domestic market 226 Great Xia citizens begin converting merit into Value Points for purchases, bringing the dynasty’s enormous transaction volume into the mall.
Small-world marketplace with law-based security 226 227 By Great Xia year 3400, the platform has become a small world. Inscribed rules enforcing fairness, impartiality, and nonviolence replace conventional security forces.

Headquarters in the Ocean of Worlds 247 Human cultivators operate schools and shops at the headquarters, spreading cultivation and humanity’s influence through peaceful trade.

Organization and Ownership

Leadership

  • You Dong — Holds the mall’s authority, recruits merchants, directs expansion, and improves its rules. During the opening preparations, he handles merchant searches and guidance 222 224.
  • Lin Lin — Provides activation capital, opening inventory, venue construction, and early security. He later contributes resources and strategic guidance for interuniversal expansion 221 222 234.
  • Scales — Answers merchants’ questions about goods and rules, manages the trading space, and issues invasion warnings 223 226.

Shareholding

  • Lin Lin receives 49% of the mall’s shares in return for the activation capital he supplies 221.
  • Ownership is established through a conceptual law connected to the shareholder’s consciousness. Outside forces can destroy that law but cannot forcibly seize it 221.
  • Shares can be diluted as the mall upgrades if a shareholder makes no further contributions. You Dong estimates that an inactive Lin Lin might eventually retain only about 1% 221.
  • Lin Lin initially receives Equivalent Exchange dividends, but later forgoes them and invests additional resources to preserve his 49% stake 224 234.
  • Before the Zerg invasion, both partners reinvest the mall’s accumulated law power into its development, giving its internal rules an exceptionally high priority 227.

Functions and Rules

The system can locate intelligent beings in its home universe, neighboring universes, and the Cosmic Sea, then select them as All Heavens Merchants 221.

  • Random invitations: Invitation letters are released into the Cosmic Sea; whoever obtains one gains qualification to enter 222.
  • Active searches: More efficient than random invitations, but searching other Great Universes requires energy beyond the mall’s initial budget 222.
  • Initial selection criteria: Large populations, short average lifespans, and underdeveloped biological sciences make civilizations promising customers for Great Xia’s longevity products 222.

Spatial Teleportation

The mall can transport a located target into its trading space from either its home universe or a Different Universe 221.

  • Its spatial laws are described as Multiverse Level 221 231.
  • Crossing the Cosmic Sea itself takes little time, but entering and leaving Great Universes through their world crystal walls can cause substantial delays 231.
  • You Dong proposes branches as internal relays capable of reducing cross-universe transmission to near-instantaneous travel 231.
  • Lin Lin later uses the mall as a transit station to reach a Great Universe being mined for resources 236.

Wish-Making and Equivalent Exchange

Completed transactions generate the conceptual law power of Equivalent Exchange, which sustains the mall and can also serve as cultivation resources for its lord 221.

  • Law power can improve the mall’s rules or be spent through its wish-making function to obtain desired things 221.
  • Wish-making requires payment in Equivalent Exchange power; the newly activated mall cannot use it before accumulating that power 222.
  • You Dong initially avoids using law power to accelerate his own cultivation, prioritizing the knowledge and Heart Realm needed to control future strength 224.

Trade Enforcement and Security

  • The mature mall inscribes rules of fairness, impartiality, and prohibition of violence throughout its small world 227.
  • Merchants have witnessed rule-breakers being punished, leaving them confident in the marketplace’s protection 227.
  • You Dong can connect his consciousness to the mall’s laws, greatly increasing his combat power within its territory 227.
  • After destroying the Zerg invaders, he uses their remaining matter and energy to help the mall repair itself 227.
  • The rules are not an absolute barrier to invasion: the Zerg open an unauthorized spatial passage into the mall, requiring direct intervention 226 227.

Trade and Currency

Value Points

Value Points are the mall’s universal currency. Merchants can barter among themselves or use Value Points to purchase advanced goods from the official stores 223.

Source of Value Points Terms
People’s Aspirations Spiritual power produced by intelligent beings’ hopes for a better life; it must be refined from its initially chaotic state before sale 223.
Productivity A civilization’s energy output or distinctive manufactured goods can be exchanged for Value Points 223.
Civilization information Merchants sell information about their civilizations as part of their early development 224.
Merit conversion Great Xia citizens exchange merit for Value Points before purchasing goods; artificial intelligence handles the additional step 226.

Loans

  • Applicants provide personal information and demonstrate their ability to repay. Approved borrowers can buy goods immediately and settle the debt within an agreed period 223.
  • Loan information includes identity and soul-and-flesh characteristics, allowing the mall to locate a borrower’s residence 223.
  • Lin Lin uses those coordinates to identify distant civilizations and support humanity’s expansion 223.
  • Early merchants borrow to purchase powerful artifacts, conquer territory in their home civilizations, and gather People’s Aspirations to repay their debts 223 224.

Goods and Revenue

  • Cultivation methods and longevity techniques, including methods for individual evolution 222 223.
  • Natural-science knowledge from the Da Xia Immortal Dynasty 222 223.
  • Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures, spiritual medicines, medicinal pills, and Spirit Stones 223 232.
  • Magic treasures and artifacts, including defenses capable of withstanding a planet’s explosion and weapons capable of destroying a planet in one strike 223.
  • Merchant services, including cultivation instruction, alchemy, talisman crafting, artifact refining, and cooking 247.

The business earns transaction taxes as well as Equivalent Exchange power. You Dong also profits from monopolized advanced cultivation techniques and resources; alien customers pay enormous Value Point prices compared with Great Xia’s internal purchasing arrangements 222 238.

Merchants and Civilizational Influence

First Merchants

The first seven merchants come from Level One Planetary to approximately Level Two Stellar civilizations, each with a population exceeding one trillion. Only the octopus-like merchant holds a minor noble position; the other six come from the bottom ranks of their societies 223.

  • They form a temporary alliance to exchange information and help one another establish a foothold 223.
  • The mall’s spiritual communication service removes language barriers 223.
  • All seven apply for loans to obtain offensive and defensive artifacts capable of securing territory and authority 223.

Transformation into Humanity

Successful merchants commonly become rulers of their civilizations, then adopt the Transformation Method to evolve into humans. Their motives include integration into the platform, closeness to the Mall Lord, and access to True Spirit cultivation and eternal life 224.

As these rulers encourage relatives and followers to cultivate, human form becomes a mark of nobility. Wider imitation gradually weakens the civilizations’ original racial consciousness, allowing the Human Dao to absorb it 224.

By Lin Lin’s later visit, human teachers and shopkeepers are a major force in the mall’s expansion. They earn Value Points and Humanity Merit while spreading cultivation, human bloodlines, and faith in the Celestial Emperor 247.

Major Events

Activation and Opening

You Dong discovers that speaking “All Heavens Mall” summons the system interface. Activation requires one hundred Top-Grade Spirit Stones or an equivalent injection of Inner Breath. Lin Lin supplies the capital and accepts a major stake in the venture 221.

Their first planning meeting takes place on the barren platform. Lin Lin subsequently creates the venue, supplies goods and protection, and enables the mall to open without the lengthy accumulation period You Dong would otherwise have needed 222.

Zerg Invasion

In Great Xia year 3400, an unauthorized spatial gate spanning trillions of kilometers opens at the small world’s edge. Trillions of insect-like invaders pour through, consuming planets, stars, and even vacuum zero-point energy as they advance toward the headquarters 226 227.

You Dong destroys the invaders inside the mall and pursues them through the gate. The larger threat proves beyond his expectations, prompting Lin Lin to intervene against the Zerg Overlord with humanity’s collective support 227.

After the Overlord’s defeat, Lin Lin and You Dong use the mall to send him to a Different Universe to harvest resources. His expedition becomes a test case for further interuniversal expansion 230 231.

Expansion and Resistance

Zerg Mother Nests survey nearby Different Universes, providing the intelligence used to select branch markets and resource-extraction sites. Lin Lin recommends avoiding the three universes containing ultra-advanced civilizations until the risks are better understood 234.

Later attempts to enter those markets are rejected. The Gate of Truth, a Level Nine Civilization in Universe No. 12, views the mall as an unknown intruder and prepares to develop interuniversal capabilities of its own 238.

Separation from the Main God Space

Lin Lin insists that the Main God Space may plunder, but All Heavens Mall and the Da Xia Immortal Dynasty must not. Maintaining order and a good reputation makes voluntary participation easier than conquering each new market 239.

You Dong agrees to draw a clearer public distinction between the two ventures. All Heavens Merchants gain a favorable reputation for driving away Reincarnators and bringing order, knowledge, and advanced civilization to new universes 239.

The contrast remains visible later: All Heavens Mall is peaceful and leisurely, while Main God Space is organized around dangerous missions and exchanging combat power for resources 247.
