The Heaven Temple is built around three great holy lands: Sun Moon Heaven, Lightning Prison Mountain, and Qingli Peak. Their respective heads are the Heavenly Leader of Sun Moon Heaven, the Lightning Prison Mountain Master, and the Qingli Peak Master. 2262 2263

Story Role / Major Arcs

Conflict with Ye Zhen

Spirit Master Hexiao first sought Ye Zhen out under the pretext of dispelling the resentment of 937 slain Thunderbolt Sacred Guards. The actual demand was that Ye Zhen submit to Secret Art refinement and become a Thunderbolt War General. Ye Zhen refused and escaped after fighting Hexiao. 1300

The Temple’s approach later shifted when Azure Hall Vice Hall Master Fan Su attempted to recruit Ye Zhen as a Dharma Protector Venerable. This revealed that its internal halls did not always act as a unified bloc. 1332

After Ye Zhen destroyed the Shahe City Branch Temple, the Heaven Temple brought accusations against him before Great Zhou’s court and threatened to summon a Dao Ancestor to perform the time-reversing Creation Divine Art. The dispute ended when Ye Zhen accepted a Dao Heart Demonic Talisman to verify the authenticity of a spirit projection, after which the Temple formally withdrew its allegations. 1699 1723 1724

Expansion through Faith

Ye Zhen later uncovered an underground Sun Moon Heaven temple where more than 50,000 borderfolk were made to chant blessing scriptures before rows of Divine Statues. The ritual harvested their faith as Power of All Beings while turning worshippers into Fanatic Believers. 2151

During the chaos following the Human-Demon Battlefield’s collapse, the Temple rapidly recruited refugees by providing aid, rituals, and Divine Statue incarnations. Sacred Priest Mo Yu concluded that its growing need for Power of All Beings could drive it to destabilize or destroy Great Zhou. 2911 2912

Grand Plan and Divine Kingdoms

Hong Ru completed the first stage of the Heaven Temple’s grand plan by orchestrating Emperor Ji Long’s assassination and Great Zhou’s collapse. The Nine Sun Divine King rewarded him with the Slaughter Flame Flying Dagger and elevated him as the Slaughter Flame Divine General. 2983

The Nine Sun Divine King then ordered Hong Ru to support the establishment of Heaven Temple Divine Kingdoms. These states were expected to recognize Temple gods, expand shrines, appoint Grand National Teachers, and remain dependent on Heaven Temple support. 2984

Later Wars

The Heaven Temple’s Sun Moon Heaven Divine Kings Qinghui and Purgatory attempted to sway Ye Zhen with an offer of princely rank, territory, military autonomy, and marriage into Prince Li Ji Yuan’s family. 3283

The Ancestral God Hall later launched a major surprise attack against the Heaven Temple, killing and enslaving more than 560,000 disciples, predominantly from the Sun Moon Heaven lineage. The attack was intended to worsen the Temple’s internal divisions and prevent its three major factions from uniting against Great Zhou. 3317

By the struggle over the Divine Court, Ye Zhen had slain the Nine Sun Divine King and Chiyan Divine Lord, then fought the Sun Moon and Lightning Prison Dao Ancestors without being defeated.
