Ten years before the Dragon Mausoleum expedition, she obtained the Vast Sky Mirror from an ancient expert’s tomb. Gu Taxian had directed her toward a treasure revealed by upheaval in the Demon Cave. With Lin Shuguang, she becomes playful, affectionate, and unusually direct. She openly announces her interest, rejects prestigious marriage candidates, and admits that she dislikes keeping her feelings bottled up. His insistence on treating their connection as a business arrangement hurts her, though she continues helping him 743 744 745.

Her boldness is tempered by political awareness. She considers the Su Family’s precarious position when confronting Yin Wufeng, recognizes dangers in Lin Shuguang’s preparations, and warns him against repeatedly exposing the Heaven Sacrifice Talisman.
