Background

Caesar was released from the Moon Laboratory as a feral, nearly speechless boy and was bullied on the island until Shirley rescued him. She cared for him, taught him language and literacy, and gave him what others regarded as his first humanity. His exceptional intelligence, combat potential, and War Divinity soon made him the strongest pillar of Shirley's territory. 394

After Adam conquered Shirley's territory, Caesar and Shirley became his subordinates. They rejected Adam's vision of treating Sin Prison Island as their permanent homeland; Shirley instead wanted to leave the island. She entrusted her resources and dream to Caesar, who rose into a Country Lord and helped create a tripartite balance of power. 394

During the Second National War, Caesar's War Divinity gave him an extraordinary advantage: he could intuit enemy deployments and intentions, indirectly direct opponents, and maximize his forces' combat efficiency. Milan halted the war with a proposed Dragon King Tournament, which Caesar accepted at Shirley's urging. He lost nine consecutive matches, beginning his reputation as the “eternal runner-up.” 394

Caesar later led an expedition against the Navy and was nearly ascended to godhood when the Six Gods interrupted his transformation. He awoke with only partial physical gains—and with Shirley dead. Unable to resume his breakthrough through later battles, he fell into despair and began consuming Fortune Particles, which changed his temperament and damaged his soul's capacity for higher-dimensional perception. 330 450

Appearance

Caesar is most often depicted through massive combat forms rather than an ordinary appearance. His most recognizable traits are golden hair, a domineering presence, and war forms built around exoskeletons, bone armor, blades, and golden energy. 392 448

  • Dharma Body — an immense golden-haired figure clad in bone armor. 392
  • Evil Dragon form — a golden-flamed, exoskeleton-covered dragon form with blade-like bone wings and demon blades extending from its joints. 448
  • Apocalypse Dragon Knight — Caesar becomes both mount and rider: his former Evil Dragon body serves as the “mount” beneath a shadowy crimson-eyed knight. 452
  • War Domain manifestation — can armor and weaponize allies such as the Giant Kun, forming colossal knightly battle constructs. 581

Personality

Before Shirley's death, Caesar was arrogant and exceptionally bold, but Shirley restrained his cruelty; he did not indiscriminately kill innocents during that period. Her death left him unstable, grief-stricken, and willing to seek numbness through Fortune Particles. 330

Caesar is intensely proud and regards only Milan and later Gaoxin as worthy rivals. He craves battles capable of forcing him beyond his limits, often prioritizing a personal duel over tactical advantage; he refused Sophia's assistance against Gaoxin because he considered the fight his alone. 448 449

His identity is inseparable from war. In a true conflict he becomes a decisive commander, weapon master, and force multiplier, but he is also vulnerable to obsession—especially his fixation on reviving Shirley and completing his failed ascension. 392 450 555

After later resurrection and memory disruption, Caesar regains much of the ambitious disposition he had before his Fortune Particle addiction. He becomes more direct, battle-focused, and confident that he can still reach godhood. 546 576

Abilities & Skills

War Divinity

Caesar's Divinity is War, which becomes strongest when open conflict has begun. It enhances not only his personal combat ability but also strategy, command, coordination, and the effective use of military assets. 392

  • During war, his talents reach their peak and he can intuit enemy deployments and intentions. 394
  • His combat ability is notably lower outside a genuine state of war. 392
  • He can coordinate allies of differing strengths into a more effective collective force. 453
  • He synchronized War Divinities with Gaoxin to rout the Angel Legion. 549

War Domain

Caesar's War Domain functions as a battlefield-wide coordination system rather than merely a method of pooling raw power. 580

  • Processes combat actions like an assembly line, allowing allies to complete attacks and responses faster. 580
  • Distributes strength to wherever Gaoxin requires it rather than forcing all power through Caesar himself. 580
  • Supports telepathic communication and body scanning among linked allies. 592
  • Can integrate massive beings such as the Giant Kun into coordinated war constructs. 581

Human Weapon Resonance

As the Lord of Soldiers, Caesar can resonate with killing weapons and achieve a level of control at which his weapons cannot harm him. 448

  • Can let demon blades move through his body without suffering their cutting or energy-absorption effects. 448
  • Has achieved true man-blade fusion rather than the self-damaging imitation used by others. 448
  • His demon blade technique is considered among the island's finest and is the closest Gaoxin has seen to his own level. 448

Demon Blade Techniques

Caesar combines demon blade energy absorption with blade-light projection, using the weapon instinctively and with extreme efficiency. 448 548

  • Can absorb surrounding energy, including lightning, and incorporate it into slashing attacks. 393
  • Uses weapon control and Dark Blade Technique to exploit opponents whose consciousness cannot match their increased power. 592
  • His ultimate combat style emphasizes direct, efficient killing blows over elaborate technique. 448

Bio-field and Combat Physique

Caesar possesses a bio-field with a radius of roughly one thousand kilometers, along with high-level control over lightning, fire, gravity distortion, Atomic Breath, and King's Roam. 449

  • His Demigod physique gives him approximately four times the base durability of an ordinary Dragon-Level being. 451
  • He can regenerate severe bodily damage and has no conventional vital point that guarantees defeat. 450 451
  • His durability allowed him to continue fighting after Seahorse's T0 Meteor Fist left his body riddled with holes. 451 452

Apocalypse Forms

Caesar's strongest war forms combine his human and Evil Dragon aspects.

  • Evil Dragon — his standard high-level war form, used at peak T0 Quasi Dragon King strength. 448
  • Apocalypse Dragon Knight — a transformation that previously defeated Apostle Jacob and was powerful enough that even Adam could not match it. 452
  • Apocalypse Cannon — a super electromagnetic cannon that launches a protective “giant egg” containing his companions away from danger. 455
  • Apocalypse Great Judgement / War Judgement — large-scale attacks used when Caesar is operating at peak combat spirit and within a War Domain. 548 581

Divine Body Self-Destruction

After ascending, Caesar can descend and detonate layers of his Divine Body in direct exchanges against stronger enemies. 592 593

  • He declared he could self-destruct “eight hundred more times” after initiating his first God-Level attack on Leon. 592
  • Repeated detonations helped erode Leon's body despite Leon's ability to grow stronger under pressure. 593
  • This tactic has a clear limit: Caesar eventually expended his remaining Divine Body layers and fell unconscious. 593

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Demon blade — Caesar's primary personal weapon and the focus of his Human Weapon Resonance. 448
  • Titan Weapon: blood-colored great scythe — extends his electromagnetic field across tens of thousands of meters and strengthens his battlefield formation. 453
  • Giant Kun — not a personal possession, but a massive ally Caesar can weaponize through the War Domain and Apocalypse Dragon Knight form. 581

Relationships

  • Shirley — Caesar's beloved and the person who rescued, educated, and humanized him. Her death drove his addiction, obsession with resurrection, and pursuit of godhood. 394 450
  • Gaoxin / Taishui — initially a potential rival and the person Caesar believes may revive Shirley; they later become enemies, battlefield partners, and War Divinity synchronizers. 394 448 549
  • Milan — Caesar's longtime rival and fellow top power. He lost to her in the Dragon King Tournament, yet later fights beside her against Leon. 394 450 592
  • Leon — Caesar's son. Leon awakens through Apostle technology, attacks Caesar, and absorbs his strength after killing him while Caesar is disguised by Taishui. 584 586
  • Seahorse — a rival who severely wounds Caesar with Meteor Fist; they later cooperate amid Seahorse's Glorious Flash and the Navy's assault. 451 455
  • King Xiahou, King Paul, and King Guqi — Caesar's closely coordinated Heavenly Kings. He sends them to fight alongside him and later sacrifices himself to launch them to safety. 447 455
  • Golden Buddha Badra — a subordinate and manipulator who introduced Caesar to Fortune Particles and later provoked him into confronting Gaoxin. 450 445
  • Iron Heart Soren — Caesar's brother-in-law and a senior fortress official who joins Badra in pressuring Caesar during his withdrawal. 445

Story Role / Major Arcs

Shirley's Avatar and the Kingdom of the Dead

When Gaoxin creates an avatar of Shirley, Caesar initially sees it as desecration and attempts to kill Gaoxin. Once he recognizes the possibility of a genuine revival, he reverses course: he agrees to tolerate Gaoxin's rise and even his independent nation, provided Shirley can return safely and freely. 393 394

Abdication, Withdrawal, and Haiwang Port

Caesar abdicates as Lord of the Evil Dragon Empire, placing the Bear King on the throne as co-leader while observers believe he remains the true power behind the fortress. He then attempts to quit Fortune Particles, isolates himself for ten days, and violently rejects Soren's offer to resume using them. 423 445

Badra and Soren nevertheless exploit Caesar's instability and desire to force Gaoxin's Dragon Transformation. Caesar leads the Evil Dragon Fortress against Haiwang Port and challenges Gaoxin directly. 445 447 448

Battle Against Gaoxin and Seahorse

Caesar fights Gaoxin to force either Gaoxin's Dragon Transformation and Shirley's revival or Gaoxin's death. He reveals his Evil Dragon and Apocalypse Dragon Knight forms, weapon mastery, battle formation, and Demigod durability. 448 452 453

When Seahorse prepares Glorious Flash, Caesar protects his own companions by launching them away inside a giant egg with Apocalypse Cannon. He remains outside to face the blast and is subsequently believed dead after destroying part of the Navy fleet. 455 456

Return and War Against the True Gods

After returning with fragmented memories, Caesar initially believes he is still in the earlier war against the Six Gods. He eventually regains his combat spirit, activates the War Domain for Gaoxin's side, and joins Gaoxin and Milan against God-Level opponents. 546 548

His obsession with ascension later destabilizes the War Domain during the battle against Moro. Caesar ultimately destroys both Moro and himself with a final Apocalypse attack. 555

Leon's Rebellion and Caesar's Ascension

Caesar returns again and reunites with Leodar, only to face Leon's transformation into the new pillar of Evil Dragon Fortress. Leon attacks Caesar, and Caesar's allies attempt to preserve what remains of him. 584 586

Against Leon and seven Apostle-enhanced sentinels, Caesar fights alongside Milan, ascends to godhood, and repeatedly self-destructs to weaken Leon. 592 593

Defense of Humanity

Caesar later commands tens of thousands of Sky Fortresses during humanity's war against the Apostles and coordinates their use with Luo Yan. 609

During the conflict with Themis, he helps combine the Six Gods' energy, leads a two-billion-Titan combined attack, and attempts to reassemble the Light of Civilization after Themis ascends beyond humanity's reach. 666 673 674

Trivia

  • Caesar's former “eternal runner-up” reputation came from losing nine Dragon King Tournament matches to Milan after agreeing to her proposal to end the war. 394
  • He filled his palace with statues of Shirley and repeatedly used avatars modeled after her before seeing Gaoxin's lifelike Shirley avatar. 392
  • Although he abdicated, contemporary observers believed the Bear King's leadership was largely ceremonial and that Caesar remained the Evil Dragon Fortress's real power broker. 423
