Xu Qi initially describes himself as someone who accepts inevitable changes one step at a time. Though not socially phobic, he is a homebody with a strong interest in figurines and Alahato, collecting models even while being criticized as a shut-in. 1

Before moving into the Golden Courtyard, he worked at Mode Capital Metro under his master, Xia Ya. His technical desk reflected his personality: reports and tools were carefully organized, while an MG Alahato model and a Keqing figure occupied the remaining personal space. 4 16
