Under Bachelle's guidance, they stepped into the Teaching Area once more. They passed through layer after layer of spiral stairs, surrounded by ink-dark hollows. Gradually, dim yellow light illuminated the path ahead. The twisting stairs vanished behind them, replaced by an ancient stone corridor.
This starting corridor seemed to have given birth to everything in the Teaching Area. Lime had solidified on the stone walls, displaying the marks of time. Candlelight reflected off the walls in a faint halo, while the air was filled with the scent of ancient rock and a trace of dampness.
Every corridor had its own unique marker, whether a carving, a worn spot, or even a special metal floor tile.
To Bachelle, these subtle differences were the most important basis for recognizing each corridor.
Lanchi and Hughberlian followed Bachelle through corridor after corridor, slowly advancing deeper inside.
Finally, Bachelle stopped in front of a delicate, small wooden door.
Three full Demon Marks were stamped on the door.
"This is rumored to be a Painting Classroom, and one of the few difficulty-three courses in the arts category."
Bachelle explained this to the two of them.
Upon hearing that, Hughberlian instinctively took half a step back. She seemed to have suffered a little psychological trauma.
As far as she was concerned, the art of the Demon Realm was more or less frightening.
She still could not forget the difficulty-two Music Classroom from earlier.
Still, no matter how one looked at it, Rhythm Magic happened to match Lanchi's greatest strength. His innate Magic Card, Poet of Great Love, was a summoned creature of the Rhythm Magic type.
This time, however, they had encountered the more difficult Painting Classroom.
"Lanchi... how are you at painting?"
Hughberlian looked at him and asked.
"I know a little."
Lanchi smiled calmly.
"Mm."
