Lanchi Discovers Hughberlian's Standards for a Mother

After regaining his freedom, Lanchi and Talia walked through the nighttime streets of Flower Capital Pariel, while the lights of Pariel Police Headquarters gradually faded behind them.

They arrived at the open plaza across the street. In less than half a minute, they flagged down a Magic-Powered Vehicle.

Lanchi stepped forward and explained their destination to the driver from the Flower Capital. The driver nodded and gestured for them to get in.

They soon sped through the night, with the streetlights flickering past the windows.

They had just entered the Pariel police station when someone had received the information and come to bail him out.

"I really am a researcher invited to the Bosen Kingdom. It's just that, for the sake of my information security, the Southern Continent Card Maker Association arranged my itinerary to look more like a private vacation."
