Autumn nights came early in the Krui Di Empire.

The brief visit of the red sun soon slipped away in silence.

After meeting Principal Violet, Lanchi left her office. Under Secretary Naira's guidance, he headed to his residence at Saint Krui Di Monastery.

"Did your meeting with the principal go smoothly, Professor Landry?"

Secretary Naira's car carried Lanchi away from the district where the Main Division Hall was located.

"Nothing went wrong."

Lanchi gazed at the monastery scenery outside the window as he replied.

"I originally thought you might be nervous about meeting someone of the Imperial Army God's level. After all, that realm could already be said to approach godhood. Some professors might prefer dealing with me rather than going directly to the principal."

Naira continued speaking.

Many people felt an instinctive fear toward Principal Violet.

"Have you met an eighth-tier powerhouse in the north before, Professor?"

In her view, there should not have been any local transcendent eighth-tier beings on the northwestern frontier where Landry had lived.

Not to mention a being like the Imperial Army God, who stood at the pinnacle of the eighth tier.
