The bright autumn moon streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the red maples outside were faintly visible in the night.

Lanchi closed his eyes and rested for a moment in the tranquil stillness of the night.

The long journey from the Bosen Kingdom had finally brought him to a preliminary foothold within the Krui Di Empire.

He had no plans or entertainment arranged for tonight.
