He later led the Soul of a Fighter Team into a brutal match against Yarolan, where his modified Fighters defeated Kuse’s team after enduring personalized horror scenarios.

• Lanchi and the Poet of Great Love made Dragon Demon and Human transformation cards, and Hughberlian and Talia discovered the Poet of Great Love’s human disguise.
• Lanchi promised to help Sophia win Enoer’s heart, then used Karen’s invitation to arrange a visit to the Primordial Slab - Wind with Enoer and Sophia watching from hiding.
• Lanchi entered the Slab’s domain with Karen, watched her craft a Wind Spell Card, and returned with an Imitation Stone Slab - Wind that he planned to take to the Northern Continent.
• Monast told Lanchi and Hughberlian that the Soul of a Fighter Team had to face Yarolan’s fighters in the academic exchange’s closing match, and Lanchi agreed to help.
• Lanchi persuaded the battered Iketerite fighters to fight Kuse’s team and had all ten contestants sign a life-and-death agreement.
• Lanchi’s five modified Fighters overwhelmed the Yarolan team, while Kuse remained conscious and feared the fighters who kept rising after he knocked them down.
• Hughberlian confronted Lanchi after the match, and he explained that he and Professor Bora Ao had put the Fighters through more than thirty hours of horror scenarios centered on Cerveny’s death.

Lanchi and Hughberlian left for the Northern Continent but were separated when a magical storm wrecked their ship. Lanchi gained a foothold in the Protos Empire by helping Viscount Francis and befriending Zestira, while Hughberlian reached the Aetherland Kingdom and was recruited to rescue a Demon Race prisoner.

• Lanchi’s fighters brutally defeated Kuse after the arena barrier failed, and Iketerite City banned Iketerite Academy’s large public events.
• Lanchi completed Nuclear Fusion Wolf, then received Loren’s approval to travel north with Hughberlian for their graduation project.
• Lanchi, Hughberlian, and Cat Boss began their journey under aliases, but a magical storm wrecked their ship and separated Lanchi from Hughberlian.
• Lanchi rescued Viscount Francis from a Rebirth Church operation aboard his ship, forced the Silver Armor Priest to stop the attack, and advised him on lawful ways to earn public support.
• Viscount Francis brought Lanchi to the Lord’s Mansion, where Lanchi befriended Zestira and helped her resume teaching magic as she prepared for the academy examination.

Lanchi entered the Protos Empire, helped Zestira at the academy, and passed the Nirvana Branch’s recruitment assessment. Sigrid recruited him into the Ba Tian Branch as her Holy Son, but he persuaded her to help him continue infiltrating the Nirvana Branch.

• The Ice Witch arranged for Hughberlian to infiltrate the prison as a guard, while Hughberlian learned that Askesang was running for Cardinal Bishop and worried about her conflict with Lanchi.
• Lanchi encouraged the Rebirth Church priests in Lilom City to develop their community, then traveled with Zestira to the imperial capital and agreed to help her at Protos Royal Magic Academy.
• Lanchi registered at the academy and began preparing to help Zestira earn credits, while he also entered the Nirvana Branch’s recruitment process under the name Luo Qi McCarthy.
• Kaius tested the candidates by making them deface Goddess of Fate statues, and Lanchi passed by presenting a lifelike statue whose expression left Kaius uncertain whether it was praise or mockery.
• Lanchi filed a real-name report against Kaius, triggering public accusations that led the Ba Tian Branch and Mourning Branch to condemn the Nirvana Branch and remove Kaius from office.

Lanchi used Zestira’s bounty and the Monthly Examination to expose the academy’s corrupt student hierarchy and rally its teachers. After the examination, he chose a powerful Wind card and prepared Cat Boss for the dangers of their coming journey north.

• Lanchi joined Sid Arendale’s history class, challenged the claim that Aetherland was behind the northern attacks, and accepted a teaching assistant position from Xi Duo.
• Lanchi and Zestira discovered a record bounty on her during Monthly Examination Day, then entered the Magical Beast Breeding classroom after Lanchi changed its nameplate to Cooking Department.
• Lanchi calmed the magical beasts and helped Zestira approach the Great Fox, but bounty-hunting students stormed the classroom and attacked the beasts and their teacher.
• The old teacher fought back, Lanchi and Zestira befriended the Great Fox, and the bounty rose as students were defeated across the academy.
• Lanchi rallied the teachers through a broadcast, promising rewards for capturing rule-breaking students, while the Chief Students feared his growing control of the school.
• Hughberlian continued training with Teacher Almirs and worried about Lanchi as the Northern Border blockade cut off news from the Protos Empire.
