After becoming governor of Snowfield Province, Lanchi learned that Northern Border Province had reportedly been massacred and set out to uncover the truth.

• Chloris asked Lanchi to investigate the north and offered the Duke's Family as support, and Lanchi accepted her request to help prevent the war.
• Lanchi and Sid traveled north, rescued Xia Ya from bandits, and accompanied him to Qinsidun City to meet his fiancée, Lilith Kinston.
• When Dean challenged Xia Ya to a duel over Lilith, Lanchi trained Xia Ya to endure brutal trials, and Xia Ya defeated Dean in the arena, prompting Lilith to recognize him.
• Lanchi exposed Professor Meiqi’s false credentials and Boen’s collusion with the Ghost Party, leading the nobles to support his appointment as governor.

Lanchi and Sid fought their way out of Banderra City and crossed the northern provinces while Anielo pursued them. After Lanchi lured Anielo into a trap in Snowfield Province, he and Sid entered the Governor’s Office to face him.

• Lanchi and Sid reached Banderra City, where Askesang and the Black Robed Man attacked them and Sigrid, and Lanchi sealed the Abyssal Black Worm, then escaped with Sigrid after the Nuclear Fusion Wolf exploded across the ruins.
• After Sigrid recovered, Lanchi and his companions headed south, while Hughberlian arrived in Milford Territory and took the identity of Milian Milford to travel to Helrom.
• Lanchi and Sid disguised themselves to cross toward Snowfield Province, but Anielo tracked them and trapped them in a magical cage.
• Lanchi used the Imitation Stone Slab - Wind to impersonate High Priest Loren and drive Anielo away, then contacted Viscount Levin Kinston to arrange a trap.

Lanchi punished Anielo, disguised himself as the Nirvana Holy Son, and traveled to Helrom as political unrest deepened around Askesang. His public interview revealed him to Hughberlian, who tried to find him but was swept into a hostile crowd that viewed her as an opponent of McCarthy.

• Lanchi exposed his identity to Anielo, had him imprisoned, and left Xia Ya to oversee the punishment Anielo had inflicted on Sigrid’s Saintess.
• Lanchi made a targeted transformation card, impersonated the Nirvana Holy Son, and set out for Box Mountain Province while Hughberlian and Mishura traveled toward Helrom.

Lanchi reunited with Hughberlian and brought her into a plan to rescue a Great Demon Race member from Helrom Prison while opposing the Nirvana Branch. Hughberlian entered the prison with Lanchi’s allies and secured permission to descend to its inner levels, where the rescue awaited.

• Lanchi found Hughberlian and Mishura surrounded by an angry crowd, recognized Hughberlian as the person he had sought, and reunited with her.
