Background / History

Suye recognizes Di Aotian as an extraordinary Miracle Servant after finding that his Fireball Technique is faster and stronger than Suye's own. Di Aotian can cast a fireball in two seconds without outside assistance, shares Suye's Fire Talent and Magic Power Surge, and is given the full name Di Aotian in response to his devotion 162.

From his early service, Di Aotian is used both as Suye's protector and as a deliberate misdirection. Because his fireballs can resemble Suye's, Suye lets enemies believe that Di Aotian is the group's true multi-talented powerhouse, making the servant their primary target instead 170.

His strength grows rapidly through battles, divine gifts, equipment, inherited talents, and Suye's own advancement. He later commands nine lava goblins in the Volcano Plane, marking the evolution of Suye's servant summoning from individual servants into a squad-based force 770.

After absorbing a Demigod Soul Crystal, Di Aotian evolves into a Dragon Goblin: a legendary demigod species that had never previously appeared in the infinite planes. Suye names this evolved form Long Aotian 879.

Appearance

Di Aotian initially appears as a small flame goblin with short red fur, fiery red eyes, and a crown bearing a gemstone. His small stature often causes opponents to underestimate him 177 186.

After evolving into a Dragon Goblin, he becomes a three-meter-tall humanoid dragon.

Di Aotian is fiercely loyal to Suye and expresses gratitude with dramatic gestures, including kneeling, kowtowing, and eagerly accepting orders. He is deeply proud when Suye recognizes his abilities or equips him with new items 162 177.

In battle, he is aggressive and enjoys fighting, sometimes to a dangerous extent. After nearly killing a Black Iron warrior with excessive brutality, Suye orders him to injure opponents without crippling them; Di Aotian obeys despite his natural ferocity 186.

He is also expressive and competitive. He is disappointed when a battle ends before he can display his strongest fire magic, and he openly reacts to Wang Dachui's provocations and boasts 192 325.

Giant Hills and Paper Flower Valley

Di Aotian becomes Suye's concealed advantage during the Giant Hills trials. Suye uses his servant's fire magic to disguise his own capabilities, then deploys Di Aotian as a frontline fighter against nobles, Persian students, and hostile warriors 170 192 216.

He becomes known for his brutality after maiming a Black Iron warrior, but Suye imposes rules on his conduct and gives him a honey biscuit as a reward for obedience 186.

Gladiatorial Combat

Di Aotian and Wang Dachui become major attractions in Sparta's gladiatorial arena. They defeat Bronze warriors together, and Di Aotian ultimately uses a self-destruct spell to eliminate five remaining Bronze warriors and secure victory 325.

During the following arena challenges, Di Aotian and Wang Dachui fight ninety-eight Silver Warriors in one day. Suye observes their battles, records their performance, and resurrects them after their eventual defeat 335.

Marathon and the Persian War

Di Aotian advances to Bronze Rank and gains Hellfire during the war against Persia. He serves as a major offensive servant, repeatedly using fire magic against pursuing Persian forces 385 619.

After reaching peak Silver, his Spirit Summoning allows him to manifest ancestral fire power far beyond what ordinary Silver servants should possess 594 595.

Volcano Plane

Di Aotian becomes an important guardian of the Volcano Plane. He commands lava goblins, helps defend against outside threats, and is entrusted with watching over Little Medea after her birth 770 773.

Dragon Goblin Evolution

Di Aotian's absorption of a Demigod Soul Crystal transforms him into a Dragon Goblin demigod. Soon afterward, he defeats Aias—one of Greece's strongest heroes—in a direct confrontation, proving that his evolution has placed him above many established heroic warriors 879 881 882.

Incarnation Battle and Godhood

As a peak demigod, Di Aotian helps Little Medea defeat an orc god incarnation and its demigod forces. He later advances to godhood with Wang Dachui and the World Tree when the Whale Nation undergoes its transformation 906 1112.
