While the two of them were talking, a girl's shrill cry rang out from inside the courtyard.

The woman's voice was choked with sobs, mournful as a cuckoo crying blood.
"Heh heh, the good show is about to begin." The Mountain Ape Demon cackled at Lu Jun without pause.
"When you go in to have your fun later, remember not to take too long. This old ape's belly is starting to grow hungry too."
"Yes, it really is time to have some fun." Lu Jun said, "I'll play with you first, then I'll have a proper game with that beast afterward!"

The Mountain Ape Demon was still puzzled when a flash of blade light suddenly swept before its eyes.
The next second, it saw its own headless body standing rigidly beside Lu Jun.
