Background / History

Sold as a child and unaware of his birth family, Xie An spent more than thirty years in Wuqiao Town and worked for half his life as an Appraiser at the Li Family Pawnshop. At fifty, facing illness and limited remaining time, he began practicing the Five Animal Play in pursuit of a longer life. 2 103 109

His rapid recovery changed his circumstances. He redeemed his freedom from the Li Manor and resigned as Appraisal Master after obtaining a Tiger Wolf Gate executive position, then continued pursuing martial arts after recognizing that health cultivation alone did not provide enough killing power. 25 33

Xie An became deeply involved with the Blood Ridge Black Market. He killed the Bronze Skin Realm steward Zhang Biao, earned the trust of Zhang Lin and Wei Dian, mastered the Heavy Mountain Saber under Wei Dian’s instruction, and eventually inherited responsibility for the Black Market’s people and legacy. 25 80 85

Following Fang Baiyu’s death and the exposure of the Corpse Refining Hall’s involvement, Xie An rose from Blood Ridge Incense Master to Hall Master of White Feather Hall.
