"Are you sure this is your plane? Not the orcs'?"
Yu Sheng'an stepped out of Dorphy City's Portal and stood atop the city wall, staring blankly at the endless Orc army stretching beyond the city.
"I discovered it first," Aphnora said matter-of-factly.
"Just this one city?" Yu Sheng'an hooked a thumb over his shoulder, pointing behind him.
—A group of plane natives steeped in Vias-style aesthetics watched Aphnora with reverence written all over their faces.
As for the looks they gave Yu Sheng'an, they were filled with uncertainty and suspicion.
They clearly could not understand what sort of being this man who had suddenly appeared beside their goddess might be.
"Mm. When I discovered this plane, its civilization had not even begun. I relocated some people here, and after one hundred and ten years of reproduction, they grew into this city of a million inhabitants!" Aphnora's tone carried a trace of pride.
"More than a hundred years? Tsk, tsk. Give any random man a group of women, and in a hundred years he could create an entire race. Yet all you managed was one city?"
Yu Sheng'an looked both amused and exasperated. "My dear Miss Aphnora, this is a whole plane! A small world! Instead of claiming land and expanding, you just kept circling around this one city?"
Aphnora did not quite understand what he meant by "claiming land," but she roughly guessed his meaning. Looking aggrieved, she said, "I investigated this plane. Apart from mineral deposits and all kinds of wild beasts, there was nothing special about it. Besides, spreading out the population would make them harder to protect."
"Damn, I really have to hand it to you. A pile of mineral deposits isn't special?"
