Background
Yu Sheng'an initially recognizes that his strength depends heavily on summoned and contracted creatures, leaving him vulnerable when personally attacked. He begins seeking independent offensive and defensive capabilities, studies magic, and considers using his exposed Divine Projection as bait to uncover threats in Willis City 15 35.
His early expansion combines magical research with economic influence. He develops magical agriculture, obtains a Time Rain Farm from Dendall, demonstrates lightning-to-light conversion before the Research Council, and proposes using low-cost grain exports to make rival nations dependent on imports 35 41 45.
While traveling through Vias, Yu Sheng'an investigates the soul as the world’s fundamental power source and marks Redmond for observation after Redmond’s soul mutation lets him communicate with an Abyss demon 46 47. He later forms an alliance with Aphnora after agreeing to help defend her small plane from the Beast God Bruman 56.
After escaping pursuit through repeated teleportation and decoys, Yu Sheng'an reaches a new Prime Plane and begins gathering intelligence under ordinary disguises 78 79. In another world, as Akid, he advises Benkeming that a strike alone cannot end exploitation without fundamental change, then continues to support him indirectly 81 82.
Personality
Yu Sheng'an is calculating, adaptive, and strongly focused on long-term advantage. He frequently turns apparent setbacks into opportunities: evading stronger pursuers through decoys and random teleportation, redirecting warfare toward an enemy missionary zone, and using financial or technological systems as strategic weapons 78 91 230.
He is also an inventive researcher who challenges accepted magical assumptions. His work ranges from mutated crops and electrical lighting to farm towers, mana banking, geothermal conversion, and virtual smart-home concepts 27 41 247 339 409.
Despite his pragmatism and willingness to manipulate allies and enemies alike, he invests in capable subordinates. He guides Erin’s cultivation and research, recognizes Robbins’ composure as worth cultivating, and encourages apprentices to question conventional magic 46 142 230.
