Background / History

Han Zheng transmigrated into a world where his previous self had been killed by a falling Buddha statue. After returning to Black Stone County, he discovered the Gluttonous Crucible, a game-like power that converts sacrifices into satiety for cultivation and martial-art breakthroughs. His father had recently died, leaving him with financial difficulties, but Han Zheng still enrolled at Zhenwei Martial Arts School. 1

Initially quiet and withdrawn, Han Zheng concentrated almost entirely on training. His first real battle revealed the value of his sacrificed sense of pain: physical backlash could not disrupt his fighting ability, allowing him to continue attacking at full intensity. 4 5 After Ma Gui recognized him as someone who should have died, Han Zheng began investigating a missing day in his memories and became entangled with the Three Harmonies Gang. 3 4

At Zhenwei Martial Arts School, Han Zheng earned Li Jingzhong's attention through rapid advancement, refined Vajra Fist technique, and a saber strike carrying genuine Killing Intent. He deliberately demonstrated enough talent to gain access to greater martial knowledge while concealing the full extent of his experience and killing aura. 7 He later won the martial school tournament, defeated Song Tianqing, and inherited Li Jingzhong's White Ape Through-Arm Fist along with access to the Nine Heavens Ape Demon Plucking Stars Chart. 23

Han Zheng's rise continued through conflicts with the Three Harmonies Gang, the Black Tiger Gang, the Incense Cult, and Black Stone County's powerful families. He entered the Xiantian Realm after consuming a Spirit Nurturing Pill, helped bring down Yuan Longshan, and ultimately left Black Stone County once Zhenwei Martial Arts School could no longer provide him with meaningful resources. Recommended by Zhang Tianyang, Han Zheng joined the Demon Extermination Division as a Black Armored Guard assigned directly to the Kui Character Camp. Personality

Han Zheng is calm under pressure and unusually composed in lethal situations. During his first real fight, he showed none of the nervousness expected of a novice; later, he deliberately sacrificed fear to the Gluttonous Crucible so that powerful enemies and desperate circumstances would not impair his judgment. 5 57

He is practical, ambitious, and highly strategic. Han Zheng believes in displaying capability when doing so creates opportunity, while keeping his deeper advantages concealed. Han Zheng is ruthless toward enemies he considers dangerous or irredeemable.
